I have been involved with Currergate nursing home, Elsie Thompson (mum) has been a resident there for the past seven years in this time mum has been cared for and looked after treated with respect dignity and love due to dementia mum was a very vulnerable lady we never had any concerns over her welfare, we were welcomed when ever we visited offered drinks and meals only on two occasions did we feel the need to speak to manager regarding mums care and our concerns were dealt with immediately. During the last two weeks of mums life we were able to be with her twenty four hours a day and our every need was catered for. Mum was able to die comfortably with her family around her for the care given to Elsie and ourselves we are forever gratefully to all involved with Currergate nursing home.

From the moment Dad came to Currergate he was looked after very well in every way. He was nursed wonderfully and soon his health improved. He enjoyed the food and got on well with the staff who really cared. A great team there.
