The physical layout of the home - justly called a "village" is striking (and probably unique) and allows residents with mobility the freedom to walk in the attractive outdoors areas. Rooms have been refurbished and are pleasant. But it is the staff who are the important element in the success or otherwise of the institution, and almost without exception we have found them to be warm and welcoming, with a clear affection for the residents in their charge.
