Aden House is situated in attractive grounds and beautiful gardens providing peaceful surroundings to relax and enjoy. The home is located in a small, picturesque rural village and has good links with the community locally. The home is registered for 60 people and offers accommodation in single en-suite rooms on two floors. A lift provides access to all floors. Communal areas include an attractive and comfortable lounge and an open dining area, as well as quiet areas. All rooms have safety features including Nurse Call systems and smoke detectors. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and are fitted with TV aeral sockets and telephone points. Aden House also has a dedicated dementia care unit, The Butterfly Wing, which is situated on the ground floor. The wing includes lounge and dining areas, bathroom and shower facilities and a specific area for activities. A varied choice os menus are available and residents may take meals in the dining room or their own room. Drinks and snacks are available at any time. Special diets can of course be catered for. Arden House has a dedicated Activities Co-ordinator who provides a wide range of activities. |
