Aden Mount is a purpose built home with a dedicated unit (The Thompson Unit) for young physically disabled adults. The home is close to Huddersfield and all its amenities. The home is registered for 45 people, with accommodation being provided in single en-suite rooms, located over three floors. All floors are accessed via a passenger lift. Communal areas include 2 comfortable lounges, three dining areas and quiet areas. Additionally there a sensory room, activity room and hairdressing room. All rooms feature Nurse-Call systems and smoke detectors for safety. Bedrooms are comfortable and homely and offer TV aerial sockets and telephone points. Meals can be taken in the dining area or in resident's rooms. A varied menu is available and special diets can be catered for. An Activities Co-ordinator provides a wide range of activities. |
