Review of Lindley Grange Nursing Home on Tuesday 15 July 2014 by Michelle T (Daughter of Resident)

I am absolutely delighted with the care my father has received at Lindley Grange since he was admitted in April. My father has severe dementia and terminal cancer. The staff are truly loving and treat all the residents as individuals and with care and dignity. I am overwhelmed by how the staff will go out of their way to accommodate my Father's requirements and will never forget the kindness they have shown.

On arrival at Lindley Grange, you are always greeted with a smile and asked if you would like a drink. Also, you are informed of any changes in medication or any problems regarding my husband Ken. I find this very reassuring and feel that Ken is in good safe hands.

Review of Lindley Grange Nursing Home on Wednesday 9 October 2013 by Phyllis C (Sister of resident)

My brother has vascular dementia and also is diabetic and receives very good care in controlling his diet etc. He is monitored regularly and action is taken very quickly if his sugar levels cause alarm. February 2013 he had pneumonia and was admitted to Huddersfield Royal. He was in hospital for just 1 week and then taken back to Lindley Grange. He was very ill and the care he received from the home was excellent. He slowly recovered and although steadily is now able to walk on his own again.

Review of Lindley Grange Nursing Home on Tuesday 8 October 2013 by Julie Beaumont (Daughter of Resident)

My father has been a resident of Lindley Grange for just over 18 months now. As with any family, it is a very difficult decision to have to make to place a loved one in a nursing home, but from day one all the family feel that the right care home was chosen for my father. The staff were there to meet us from the ambulance (as my father had been in hospital for 7 weeks prior to this), introducing themselves and reassuring us that he would be well cared for, knowing how emotional a day this was for us. The level of attention and care that my father and the family received that very first day has never diminished. The Manager was just starting her new post at the home at the time and, again, this was perfect timing for my dad's care. The Manager has made the home the best it can possibly be. The care and respect that is given to the residents is fantastic. The communication between staff and the family/friends of residents is excellent and everyone is made to feel that they are as much part of the home as are the residents. We feel very lucky to have found Lindley Grange and would have no hesitation in recommending this home to others who, unfortunately, find themselves in the same difficult position.

Review of Lindley Grange Nursing Home on Monday 7 October 2013 by Christine Brennan (Wife of resident)

My husband has been a resident in Lindley Grange for 19 months, the care there is good. I wouldn't have him anywhere else. The food is first class. The residents are clean, well dressed, and very well cared for. Not only do they look after residents, they talk to relatives, and help us to deal with our loved ones' illnesses. Well done and thank you to the carers and management; first class.
