My father passed away last week after spending almost a year in Priory Gardens. We, as family, have been extremely impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff and feel that our father has been enabled to live out the last days of his life with dignity and in comfort. The love and care shown to him has been heart-warming and has genuine sympathy and sorrow shown by the staff at his passing.

My father was a resident in nursing care at Priory Gardens for almost a year until his death last week. Throughout this period the staff were kind and caring and took the time to ensure his comfort and make him smile. They were patient when he was noisy and always ensured that his dignity remained intact. Many thanks to all at Priory Gardens for their kind and caring attitude.

The manager has been marvelous, from first meeting him early this year when we visited to assess my husband. You could tell by talking to him that her knew every aspect of the job. The staff I have met have been wonderful and they have looked after him with very much care and attention. I would recommend their service to anyone and I have no qualms about my husband returning for further respite in the near future.

I am happy for my mother to be in a safe, secure and caring environment. Compared with two other institution catering for medical/health issues this is much better in the personable and caring way, staff deal with demanding patients. The staff here are the main asset because caring for the elderly has to involve the right approach to people as well as the social needs. The staff here seem concerned and do not perform their tasks in a perfunctory way.

The rooms are adequate, they are well kept. Mum is settled, she is well cared for and looked after. I do not have any worries about mum's welfare. All the family are happy with mum's care. As the care is at the moment, mum will reach 100 years old in Priory Gardens, she has got a new lease of life by going into this home. It would be nice to know mum will see her days out where she is happy. A friendly and relaxed place.

My Nana came to Priory Gardens on the nursing unit for end of life care. The four weeks she was there were the best she had in a very long time, from being bed bound and at home struggling with day to day life. She decided she couldn't cope anymore. The staff on the nursing unit made my nana comfortable and she enjoyed the last few weeks she had left. The support and care from staff and management were fantastic. (Wish my Nana had done it sooner).
