Old people like my Mother would like to have her dinner at dinner time not at tea time. The day staff are excellent but some of the night staff are from an agency and are not as good.

Review of Snapethorpe Hall Care Home on Thursday 5 June 2014 by Pamela J (Daughter of Resident)

18 months ago my mother (aged 89) was discharged from hospital after undergoing a hip operation. Her existing home (for dementia care) refused to take her back because she wasn't mobile. Snapethorpe Hall gave my mother a room, took care of her from day one and soon had her back on her feet. We celebrated her 90th birthday at the home - something I didn't think we would see. They have given excellent care and support to me. I cannot thank them enough.

Review of Snapethorpe Hall Care Home on Wednesday 14 May 2014 by Jane N (Daughter of resident)

I feel that my mother is very well looked after at Snapethorpe Hall, the staff are very kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are a nice size and the residents can make them more homely with their own belongings. The activities co-ordinator is excellent and encourages everyone to take part in the various activities. There are regular relatives meetings to keep you informed of what is happening and giving you the chance to be involved. I would definitely recommend this home and have complete peace of mind.

I could not be more impressed with this home. Although over the last 16 months my husband has been here we have had some ups and downs, the present management and staff are making every effort to make this home dementia friendly, giving individual attention to the different needs of each resident. This home continues to strive to uphold its excellent standards of care. I cannot fault it.

Review of Snapethorpe Hall Care Home on Monday 29 July 2013 by Margaret (Sister of now deceased resident)

My sister was on the full care 24 hour nursing side of the Home. Nursing Home kept very clean, as were patients. Care provided by nursing staff and care workers excellent. Staff always friendly and willing to dicusss your loved one's progress. Facilities first class from food to laundry service, cleaning and entertainment. The family were extremely satisfied with the excellent care given to our dearly loved one. The Manager of the Home was willing at any time to discuss any issues on the well being of your loved one and ran a "very good ship."
