Abbeymoor Disabled Living Centre is located on the edge of Swalwell and is close to the Metro Centre, amenities, public transport and the A1.

At Abbeymoor a variety of disabilities are dealt with including head injuries, spinal injuries, neurological disorders, brain trauma, multiple sclerosis and Huntington's disease. The home provides both continuing and short-term care for residents.

Accommodation at Abbeymoor is offered in single occupancy rooms, some of which have en-suite bathrooms. Rooms are spacious and have room for personal items. Assisted baths and showers are also available within the unit.

The home provides large, comfortable lounges and dining rooms that overlook the gardens and have easy access to the patio area. There is also a day room/dining room which incorporates a kitchen, where beverages and snacks can be prepared by residents.

A good choice of appetising and nourishing meals are served in our dining rooms, or in the resident's room if preferred.

Residents are assisted to visit local facilities and make use of the wide range of public services available.
