How Likely are the Reviewers to Recommend Belle Vue Nursing Home?
Reviewer Connection to Belle Vue Nursing Home
Review submitted from a Website Submission by Lynne C (Daughter of Resident/Service User) on Wednesday 25 May 2016. Review relates to January 2016.
I have already made a formal complaint about the poor care afforded to my mum. She was placed at this home from hospital in a "step down" bed. She was initially told by a care worker that she would only be allowed two showers a week. She was then washed in a cold shower. Mum became anxious in the evening and asked that I undressed her for bed as the staff had been rough and too quick. The room was smelly on arrival and this was not rectified for the two weeks she was living here. We were so concerned about the poor care that we brought mum home and looked after her with help from home care staff. I feel that there is too few staff and so this develops this poor care culture. I am appalled by the care provided by this home.
