At Highfield Care Home Residents have a choice of lounge areas which feature comfortable and specially designed furnishings. The home has a range of comfortable and well-equipped bedrooms; some rooms also have views across the garden.

Highly recommended, food out of this world and the staff make it a pleasure. Activities were very good but I liked to talk to residents or be on my own so I only joined in occasionally. I would have no hesitation in returning. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Every member of staff is friendly and welcoming. They treat all residents with the utmost respect, kindness and attention. Nothing is too much EVER! The food is great and varied. Care is taken to make sure not only that residents eat but that they enjoy their food and have a social experience of eating together and chatting. The home is scrupulously clean and well maintained. Every effort is made to help residents customise their rooms to make them homely so that they can feel it is their individual space. Visitors are treated as "part of the family" and it has a proper community feel.

A family atmosphere. Excellent staff, my brother and I live in Canada our mum was in your home for 6 years. All the staff kept us well informed on the condition of our mum. It took all the worry out of our lives knowing that Mum was in such a loving and cheerful environment we were called back to England in january and for two weeks all the staff were so very kind and sympathetic. They treat us as if we were part of the family, they have mangaed to accomplish and create, under all of the stresses of making all the resident's families feel as we do.

My Mum spent the last years of her life in Highfield... she died recently...where she was treated with dignity,love and kindness at all times, the staff were wonderful..beautifully cooked meals..I truly cant praise the care given highly enough..when my time comes I will happily move in.
