Review of St Margaret's Care Home on Thursday 13 February 2014 by Patricia M (Wife of resident)

From the beginning my husband and I found the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. He was a very sick man when he went into St Margaret's and the nursing care was excellent. The care staff were kind and considerate with a man who could be difficult at times. I would have been quite happy if he stayed permanently at the home but he missed being in the middle of home life. The manager had staff who took pride in their work and I will be happy for him to return for respite care, knowing that he will have the best of care.

Review of St Margaret's Care Home on Thursday 21 November 2013 by Dorothy March (Resident's daughter)

My father was taken into St. Margaret's Care Home in December 2012. I am a regular visitor, and have been overall, extremely happy with my father's care. Any problems are remedied quickly. I very much enjoy the outings and varied entertainment programme. It really is a joy to sit by my father, other residents, visitors and the lovely staff and experience the family atmosphere.

Review of St Margaret's Care Home on Tuesday 5 February 2013 by Ron Stitt (Husband of resident)

In February 2012 a new manager entered the home, since when major internal refurbishments have taken place throughout and are currently ongoing. This care home is well respected in the area and highly recommended. My wife was admitted to the care home in May 2011. I visit her daily and have witnessed the improvements since the beginning. I have tea with my wife when visiting and enjoy the various meals on offer, and also accompany her in numerous activities for residents.

Review of St Margaret's Care Home on Thursday 28 June 2012 by Richard B (Son of Resident)

The care home has many residents who are disabled or have dementia, but the staff are (so far as my experience goes) invariably patient and often they're endearingly cheerful and encouraging. They keep an eagle eye on the residents medical conditions, my mother has had a doctor visit whenever there’s any hint of a problem. The rooms are pleasant and well maintained
