Review of Chapel Level Care Home

The manageress is professional and knowledgeable. The staff are hard working. The residents are looked after with their needs being met (only experience from my mothers stay) Social activities are listed in reception area to inform visitors etc. The reception is welcoming and there is a gel dispenser. Communication is good with senior management. On behalf of my mother she said that she would not hesitate going back if the need arises.

Review of Chapel Level Care Home

I find everyone very friendly, helpful and very approachable. For me this is important, they are never too busy that they can't listen to you. They take things on board and try to help, they understand your position of concern for your relative. The food is superb. It would be nice if there was extra staff for to spend some time to chat to the elderly, a lot of the time they do, but sometimes it's too busy - but I suppose this is just normal nowadays.

Review of Chapel Level Care Home

My late wife had been resident in the home since 10th February 2010 suffering from dementia. Up to the last 3 or 4 weeks before her death she had been settled and very happy there. She was excellently cared for at all times by all members of staff and visitors were always made very welcome. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, particularly during her last few weeks when she suddenly had serious health problems unrelated to her dementia. All staff there are a credit to their profession.
