Forth Bay is registered with the Scottish Care Commission providing care and support. There are 52 beds split over four separate units which are as follows, nine LD beds, 14 EMI beds, 9 injuring mental illness beds, 22 older people. Our client group require varying levels of support and encouragement to lead active and fulfilling lives.

Forth Bay is under the management of Alison Graham, Forth Bay operates with staffing that reflects the needs of the clients that reside there. Staff either have SVQ, or are working towards achieving this, this enables staff to provide a positive person-centred approach to support each individual within Forth Bay.

Individual service plans are outcome based and aimed at supporting individuals in achieving the highest quality of life. We actively promote and encourage independence through a structured and supportive approach to everything that we do.


General Description

Forth Bay is a purpose built care home built over two storeys with bay windows. The house is tastefully decorated and provides a high standard of accommodation throughout. Within the house all bedrooms are individually decorated, which are decorated to a high standard and reflect the individuals who reside in them. There is extensive communal living space including lounge, dining room that also doubles for arts and crafts, kitchen, bathrooms and utility room.

Forth Bay is ideally situated for local amenities. There are a number of local resources within walking distance such as a library, shops and pubs, there is also a bus stop very close to the home which gives access to Dunfermline and Falkirk. The Forth Bay also has its own transport which clients can use for outings to local places of interest or destinations of their choice.

The staff team support and provide guidance to the individual to pursue their wishes and hobbies. Whilst living at Forth Bay clients have the opportunity to attend a wide range of social and leisure activities, and have full use of the large enclosed garden and two patio areas. All residents are encouraged to take part in everyday living tasks in order to promote independence and maximise lifestyle choices.
