Lomond Court is situated in the heart of a residential community within the town of Glenrothes, a purpose-built 40 bedded care home which provides Dementia and Nursing care.
Residents have a choice of lounge areas which feature comfortable and specially designed furnishings. Tastefully decorated and well-equipped bedrooms are bright, safe and comfortable.
Chefs at Lomond Court pride themselves on knowing the tastes of Residents and preparing a choice of home cooked, fresh, nutritional meals and catering for any dietary and cultural needs. My mum had been in a few homes before coming to Lomond Court. After a short period here my mum was made to feel so welcome. I know when I left after a visit my mum was in safe hands.

This is the second care home my father has been in. The first one he couldn't seem to settle into. Lomond Court has been fine, all the other residents seem happy with the staff and surroundings also.

The staff are excellent and do a great job. We are kept well informed of how well our family member is doing. Any falls etc (which are few and far between) are reported to us in a timely manner. All in all we are very happy with the care being provided.

The care given to my mother in the last years of her life was first class. I cannot thank the staff enough for the warmth and generosity afforded to my family, especially during her final weeks.

The reason for choosing Lomond Court was because of the care and compassion shown in the care of the elderly with dementia. I've also spoken with family of other residents and liked what I heard. The staff are great and so friendly. I have an aunt who visited Mum and she was greatly impressed with everything she saw, she worked in a nursing home in Aberdeen and said Lomond Court was better.

Mum is very happy and safe. The carers are very attentive and friendly, the food has improved and there are plans in place to re-decorate. I would have given it a better value for money and probably will when all the improvements have taken place. What really makes this home is the staff who make mum feel very happy and secure.

Having visited many people in care homes and observed the level of care, I think its important for people to know what goes on. I would always want the best care for my family and found Lomond Court to be the best I could find. I have every confidence in the management and staff.
