Situated near Aberdeen’s city centre in the West End neighbourhood, Maryfield West is a warm and inviting residence with great access to local amenities. With 25 bedrooms offering residential, nursing, and dementia care, residents are offered lots of personal attention in this homely residence.
Bedrooms are set across three floors, and the first floor is where residents come together to use the large dining room and communal lounge. There are assisted bathrooms on all floors. All furnishings and decor throughout the home are of an exceptionally high standard. There is also a lovely garden where residents can enjoy refreshments when the weather’s fine and where a number of the more green-fingered residents get involved with the planting.
Chefs prepare fresh, healthy, and tasty food on site, allowing residents to choose from a daily menu. Specialist dietary requirements will be accommodated.
A dedicated activities coordinator prepares a range of events and outings, liaising closely with residents and their families to ensure everyone gains the best possible experience and stimulation.
Staff understand that moving into Maryfield West will be a considerable transition, but one they try to make feel as easy as possible. By planning the colour scheme of your room with you, or bringing you your daily newspaper, they’ll do the little things that make the biggest difference.

I have not been in the care home for long but i am already comfortable in my surroundings. The staff care and attention in very good and staff attend any of my calls for their attention in a timely fashion and are most professional and friendly at all times. I was not sure if i was looking forward to entering the care home system but i am happy now.
