The Erskine Home in Bishopton opened in 2000. The home offers long term and respite care and looks after 180 residents in six houses, two of which specialise in dementia services.
At The Erskine Home, the usual range of services are complemented by the popular Royal Scots Shop, staffed by volunteers, Harry's Cafe and the nearby Erskine Garden Centre and Vanishing Willows cafe.

Erskine welcomes those who have served either as a Regular or on National Service in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army or Royal Air Force. This includes volunteers and regular reserves. Ex members of the Merchant marine who were deployed on active service; the current spouse of those listed above; members of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary; members of the Home Guard or the widow/widower of any of the above, unless the spouse has remarried..
