Carrickstone House Care Home is located at Carrickstone roundabout and is close to the town, amenities and public transport links.

This purpose built care home and hospital provides accommodation in single occupancy rooms, all of which have private toilet facilities. Assisted bathrooms are available. Two thirds of the beds are contracted by Lanarkshire Health Board and one third are the nursing home's. There is also a day hospital providing care for the frail elderly from 9am - 5pm.

Carrickstone House features TV lounges and a quiet sitting room for relaxation. Separate dining rooms, where residents can socialise at meal times are also available. Traditional home cooking using fresh produce is served and residents may select from the choices available daily. Special diets can be catered for.

Regular visits are made to the home by an experienced hair stylist. The home can also arrange for visits to be made by dentists and opticians.

Residents may benefit from a varied programme of activities on offer.
