I was formerly senior consultant surgeon at Perth Royal Infirmary, so had access to all local care homes. I and my family, chose Catmoor, because it has the best nursing care in Perth Scone. I have been especially impressed by the clinical acumen of one senior nurse. The lady manager is also excellent.

Catmoor care home is a compact 40 bed home in a very peaceful setting in the village of Scone. It is a welcoming and homely place with lovely new décor in the hall and nice touches such as fresh flowers and pleasant music. There is great community spirit and we get to know and support other relatives and patients. Catmoor may not tick all the boxes at the higher level but this is superseded by the very caring, kind and helpful staff at all levels. The care received by my husband and the support given to me has been excellent.

I moved my mother from another care home into Catmoor House. She has now been here for 3 months and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's so good to know that I can relax now in the knowledge that my mother is being well cared for. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable and the accommodation is first class.
