Dungannon Care Home is located in Dungannon's Killyman Road area and is convenient for shops, amenities and the M1 motorway link. Oakes Shopping Centre is less than a mile away. At Dungannon Young Disabled Unit both continuing and short term care are offered. Accommodation is provided in single occupancy rooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have ample space for personal items. Assisted baths and showers are also available within the centre. At Dungannon we have experience of dealing with a variety of disabilities. These include head injuries, brain trauma, spinal injuries, multiple sclerosis, neurological disorders, Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease. Whatever the need, care is delivered with patience, kindness and understanding. The home offers large, comfortable lounges and dining rooms overlook the gardens and have easy access to the patio area. There is also a kitchen, where beverages and snacks can be prepared by residents. Our recreational activities programme is tailored to meet the individual needs and choices of each of our residents. Appetising and nourishing meals with varied menus are served in our dining rooms, or in the resident's room if preferred. Residents are assisted to visit local facilities and make use of the wide range of public services available. |
