This care home is very clean with a pleasant outlook overlooking a field which has cows, pheasants, rabbits etc for the patients to view. The food is very good and plentiful and the staff are superb. Very efficient and kind. The rooms are light and spacious and spotlessly clean. This is a perfect example of how care homes should be.

Review of L'Hermitage, Jersey by Anne E (Daughter of Resident (now deceased))
Wednesday 3 October 2012
After a short stay in hospital, my almost 93 year old mother was admitted to L'Hermitage, not far from her home of 72 years, a huge change for her. The nursing staff were wonderful, kind and compassionate. I felt happy leaving her there when I had to return to my family in Australia. If felt like I was leaving her with her Jersey family. Sadly she only lived for another 4 months, but I know she was happy and well cared for.

My husband went to L'Hermitage for several respite breaks and was really well looked after. The staff are always helpful and cheerful and looked after my husband very well. He was very contented there and said the food was nice also. Nothing seemed too much trouble.
