We deliberated over which Care Home we wanted our father to go to spend his final years of his long illustrious life, so it was very important to us that he went to the best possible home for him to stay. We looked at a number of homes within the Llanelli and Carmarthen area but were generally not impressed in what we saw. Cilymaenllwyd was going to be our last port of call before we would call it a day. We were welcomed by Phillip and his staff and were immediately taken by his professionalism and courtesy that was extended to us on our visit. The room that we were shown and the subsequent views across Carmarthen Bay was breathtaking and we were then convinced that this was the place that we wanted our father to come and stay. His health with his Alzheimer’s before coming to you had deteriorated so much but over the last 6 months with the care and love that you and your staff have shown to my father he is now so happy that he told me that living here was like being at home, which basically summed it all up for me. Please keep up the good work that you and your staff are doing because it is much appreciated by our family. We always notice the staff are always smiling and welcoming which shows to me how much they themselves enjoy working for you.
