Ty Hendy offers accommodation for thirteen individuals with learning disabilities who may also have early onset dementia.
Ty Hendy provides a self-contained unit with eight bedrooms; each bedroom is ensuite with direct-dial telephones, memory boxes, open fronted furniture and sensor operated bathroom lights.
There are also five self-contained flats with ensuite facilities, a kitchen, direct-dial telephones and internet access.
The service also offers respite care for four individuals in a self-contained respite facility located on the same site.
Ty Hendy is light and airy and has three self-contained gardens set in beautiful grounds, as well as an activities room and various lounges. Those at TY Hendy are encouraged to pursue their hobbies and interests.
A range of evening therapies are available, including yoga, aromatherapy, music therapy and reflexology. These are delivered by qualified practitioners.
A variety of activities such as garden games, discos, karaoke and trips out are organised for those using the services.

Before 1st July 2015 carehome.co.uk only accepted Recommendations (positive comments only) and the Ratings were limited to Excellent, Good & Satisfactory. These are marked up as Recommendations.
As of 1st July 2015 carehome.co.uk changed from Recommendations to Reviews (positive and negative comments) and added the Ratings Poor and Very Poor. These are marked up as Reviews. Between 1st July and 31st December 2015, we are still processing a number of Recommendations from Recommendation cards sent out before 1st July (These are marked up as Recommendations).
