My Mother has been a resident at Orchard House for the past year during which time I have been very impressed by the care she has received. I can't praise the carers highly enough, they are all wonderful and work hard to provide my mother with the care and attention that she needs. Orchard House is always clean, happy and the food is great.

We often hear of care homes being investigated due to cruelty and bad care practice to their very frail, vulnerable elderly residents. There is, however, a care home, Orchard House in Sawston, that I have nothing but praise and admiration for. Our dear mum became a resident there two years ago when she was no longer able to live safely, independently in her own home. Pippin House, within Orchard House, became her home, being cared for by the wonderful caring staff up until her recent death. Thanks to them all, she was able to die with dignity in her familiar surroundings, being cared for by the carers who loved her dearly. Our heartfelt thanks to them for their love and support to all the family during our very sad loss.
