My friend has been in Florence House for about 2 years. She is extremely well cared for 100%. All staff, from your managers, care staff, domestics and maintenance staff, provide a very good service. The activities officer provides a variety of activities, i.e., entertainment, baking, arts and crafts,
exercise, swimming, and an outing to the local pub for lunch. There are regular carers meetings, which is good to meet other families. The daily good menus are always on display, and the activities for that week is also on display. I find this very useful. The staff are very friendly and supportive to visitors.

Florence House, since day 1 I and my family cannot find any faults with regards all staff at this home, which is why I have given them 100 per cent on ratings.

My dad initially went to Florence House for 2 weeks' respite care whilst I was away on holiday. When I collected him after my holiday, my dad asked if he could go back to Florence House, as he was made to feel so welcome and cared for brilliantly. So he's now a full-time resident and loves it here;
every member of the team at Florence House are so friendly, caring and helpful. I'm so happy that my dad chose Florence House, and I am a very happy and content daughter knowing he's being cared for so brilliantly. Thank you.

The staff team work very hard to make this a home for all the residents. Senior staff are permanent and take time to understand each resident, their needs and personality. The reassurance of the continuity of familiar, friendly faces has allowed my father to relax and enjoy his days over 2 and a half
years. The training of new staff and their absorption into the staff team is done in a structured, calm and professional atmosphere. I am glad my father lives in such a warm and welcoming place.

I would like to express my thanks to all staff at Florence House. All the staff go above and beyond to ensure the safety of all residents. My dad has been with Florence House for 2 and a half years, and I am really happy with the level of care he receives. I am well informed of current situations that
arise with his care and I am kept up to date with any medical changes. This home has a welcoming family atmosphere, under new management, who have managed to turn it into a lovely, safe and secure home, that I would recommend.

I feel mum is more at home here as it's a lot smaller and she can get to the toilets more easy. She walks all the way around and at the other care home she was always pushed around in her wheelchair so in a way she was never mobile, but now they have got mum walking everywhere and she feels more happy
and safer, especially at night, they come to her as soon as she gets out of bed, there at the other home she had to wait for someone to come and it could take a while sometimes.

So happy we found Florence House Mum has settled really well, better than we ever thought. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and there is always something going on from Halloween parties to 60's night. I highly recommend Florence House to anyone.

My decision to put my mum in a care home was a very difficult decision. However, the care my mum received at Florence House was caring, respectful, understanding and supportive. Her dignity was considered at all times. I was kept informed immediately should the need arise. There is a warmth that emits
from Florence House which is created by a team of dedicated staff whose paramount aim is the care of the residents at all times. My sincere thanks to them all.

From the moment we entered the care home the staff greeted us warmly and welcomed my mother in law into the home and showed her around and made her feel at ease . They listened to her needs and likes/dislikes and took all of this on board.
Staff go above and beyond for the residents . The manager,
care staff, nurses, events team were all very friendly , professional and extremely caring. We could leave my mother in law at the home and feel easy about doing this while we went on holiday . I can recommend this home to anyone and would use it again without a doubt. Thanks to all the staff for their kindness towards my mother in law .

I can't thank you enough for the loving care your staff are showing towards not only my mum but to us as a family. Nothing is too much trouble, even providing a shoulder to cry on when we are overwhelmed with mum's dementia. The staff's knowledge and understanding are second to none. Knowing that mum
is cared for to such a high standard takes away a lot of stress and guilt. A**** Florence House, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My brother has been a resident here for quite a number of years now, we've not always been happy with things but that has changed recently and things have improved quite a lot. He gets trips out on a regular basis, there are lots of activities and on the whole the staff are sensitive and caring.
