With 10 years of experience in the health and social care sector, my role as Home Manager is to lead our team in delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. I oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensure we meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, and support both residents and colleagues to thrive.
My greatest passion lies in end-of-life care and dementia care. Supporting individuals and their families through some of life’s most sensitive moments is an honour that I never take for granted. Helping residents feel understood, valued, and comforted—whether through a reassuring conversation or ensuring their wishes are respected—brings a deep sense of meaning to my work.
For me, ‘Care from the Heart’ means seeing every resident as a unique individual with their own story, preferences, and needs. It’s about delivering care with empathy and dignity, creating an environment where people feel safe, respected, and truly at home.
I believe my impact comes from creating a culture where kindness, teamwork, and open communication are at the forefront. By supporting and empowering my colleagues, I strive to build a strong and unified team that consistently delivers exceptional care. Looking ahead, I am committed to developing further initiatives that enhance wellbeing, strengthen relationships, and ensure Coppice Lea remains a warm and supportive place for everyone.
