Home Manager, Substance Misuse – North Lancashire - £30,000- £35,000 per annum - J7520JW

I am currently recruiting for an excellent management opportunity with a regional provider of mental health services. The company which boasts a number of services in the Lancashire area; aims to offer a person centered approach to care. This service in question caters for the needs of individuals suffering from the effects of substance misuse. The Unit provides a ‘unique enhanced recovery based Detoxification Service for withdrawal from drug/ and or alcohol Misuse and respite from stimulant abuse". The aim of the service is to move away from the mainly ‘medical model’ approach to rehabilitation, to encompass a more individualized approach. The service is relatively new and continues to develop, with the aim of reaching full occupancy over the next couple of months.
My client is seeking a degree qualified candidate who has previous supervisory experience; ideally you’ll have a history of working within the substance misuse field. The role offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Nurse or Deputy Manager to progress as there will be a comprehensive support package on offer aiding your development as a Manager.
Essential requirements:
• 1ST Level RMN/ RGN Qualified, or a health related degree
• Previous supervisory/ management experience
• Experience of working alongside an MDT
• Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
• An approachable and friendly demeanor
• Experience of business development and marketing
Desirable requirements;
• NVQ 4 in Management and Leadership or equivalent
