Description

We are currently seeking a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to work full time for a nursing home in Leyland.
Working as the nurse in charge, you will have overall responsibility for the running of the shift which will include supervision of care staff and allocation of duties as well as ensuring the clinical needs of residents are met. This will be a hands on role and will see you undertaking wound dressing, administering medication, writing and updating care plans and dealing with risk assessments.
Applicants should be able to lead a shift effectively and have the ability to liaise with health care professionals of all levels including GP's and social workers.
This is a full time role of 36 hours per week which will include weekends and nights, in return they are looking to offer a salary of between £12.00 - £13.00 per annum dependant on experience.
Applicants must be a RGN or RMN with a valid NMC PIN number, ideally you will have previous experience in a similar area
