Description

General Manager required for a bright, modern purpose built care centre in Buckinghamshire. The home has been designed and built to the highest specifications and offers the best resources for both staff and residents. You will have direct responsibility for identifying, planning and delivering service improvements for the home. In particular you will be required to focus on the following areas; dementia care, care planning and documentation, developing specialist and individualised care for the different categories of care, improving staff knowledge through training and supervision, developing high level clinical skills and appropriate end of life care planning. The home is very settled and has a good core staff team. You will be supported in post by an experienced senior management team but equally will be given the freedom to work fairly autonomously. Candidates will either be nurse qualified or hold the NVQ4 / RMA / LMCS and must have experience of managing a large home within the elderly care sector.
