Care home boss failed to register six deaths

The failure to inform the authorities of six care home deaths, at Bamfield Lodge in the Whitchurch area of Bristol between December 2007 and January 2008, has resulted in the home's then manager Isla Meek being struck off the nursing register, with the failure to keep proper drugs records also criticised.
