9.3

Sonnet Care Homes operates two care homes on one site in the village of Bocking near Braintree, Essex. The homes changed hands in November 2013 and the current Directors of the company have a combined 30 years' experience working in care homes. This experience has been used to transform the care and services in both homes. Unique to Sonnet Care Homes is a culture and values programme called KCR which stands for Kindness, Comfort and Respect. Visitors to the homes will see evidence of KCR in the attitude and actions of the team, and in the information displayed throughout.

In addition the company invests in specialist services and external expertise to both monitor standards of care and safety, and to screen all staff to ensure that they have the right innate values and attitudes to work with vulnerable people.
