Review of Prince George House from Amanda W (Daughter-in-law of Resident) published on 6 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Our family have been so pleased with the care & attention given to my father-in-law, since moving into Prince George House. The reception team are always happy, welcoming and ready to help and the care team look after him with professionalism and kindness and they communicate with us quickly about any concerns. The food choice & quality is excellent and the home is always very clean. The weekly entertainment and activities are genuinely enjoyable and very varied, to help engage all residents regardless of their abilities and shows how much the activities team care.

Most importantly, we feel very reassured and confident that this caring, clean and engaging environment will support him with dignity and care through his dementia journey.

Review of Cedrus House from Tania D (Daughter of Resident) published on 5 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My mum spent 3 years in Cedrus House until she passed in November 2025 then my dad resided there for 7 weeks in May/June 2026. My dad requested to go there after receiving a terminal diagnosis. He knew all the staff from visiting my mum and was so comfortable there. The staff bent over backwards to fit him in and we are so grateful.
I couldn't begin to explain how grateful we were for him to be there. It made his passing less painful to know he was where he wanted to be.

Both my parents received excellent care and all staff were so compassionate. I really couldn't rate the home highly enough.

Review of Prince George House from M F (Son of Resident) published on 4 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My father has been a resident for nearly a year and in that time he has been well looked after by a professional and friendly staff always putting my dad first, attending to his needs and putting him at rest when in need. From a personal point of view I can rest easy knowing he is in safe hands which is priceless when I consider the issues he had when living at home alone. He knows he will not live forever, but he is enjoying doing things and eating things he has never tried. We all agree that moving into a care home is the best thing he could have done, and we are so glad he is in a home that care so much. Thank you.

Review of Cedrus House from Wendy C (Niece of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

When I visit, my Aunt always looks freshly washed and her hair is neat . Her room is spotless and odour free as is the rest of the home . If her carers see me visiting they will come in and enjoy a laugh with us. It is obvious that they get on well with her. She enjoys the food and says that the Chef is wonderful and his Fish & Chips are the best she has ever had. I would not hesitate to recommend Cedrus House to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback Wendy. An amazing care home. Very, very, impressed by the care, staff, and the building.
My mum is very happy and have seen how much she is enjoying being spoilt by staff.
Also having the social media page lets me see what she is doing, which I love as I am so far away from her.

Review of Prince George House from Di B (Wife of Resident) published on 23 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Chris is a bit reluctant to come at times to the day centre once a week but always a positive response at the end of the day and glad he went. He enjoys all the activities bingo reading the paper meeting other people including the staff. Lunch is always well received and enjoys telling me what was on the menu
So glad we found this facility as it is a positive outcome for us both.

This has also led to a residential stay across the way earlier this year which worked really well

Reply from Julie Dennis, Reviews Team at Prince George House

Review of Glastonbury Court from Belinda R (Daughter of Resident) published on 8 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Glastonbury is excellent and the team are amazing - friendly, genuinely caring and wonderful to both dementia residents and their families. Not only was Mum professionally cared for but they gave her back her dignity and a life filled again with company, activity, humour and friendship. Families are very welcome and we felt just as at home making a cup of coffee in their kitchen as we did in our own homes. The dementia care is exceptional and residents like Mum are treated with respect, professional understanding and kindness. It was an enormous comfort to us that Mum was so happy and loved, especially in her last days. Thank you to everyone at Glastonbury.

Review of Britten Court from Christopher B (Brother of Resident) published on 2 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My sister has been at Britten Court for several months now. She has a diagnosis of vascular dementia at the young age of 71. We, her family, are really pleased that she has been fortunate enough to be placed at B.C by the council. Having spent the best part of two days with her at BC, I am able to confirm that she has an excellent relationship with all the care staff and they are indeed, very caring. BC is clean and safe and the food excellent. All my queries were readily addressed and the staff could not have been more accomodating. Well done team!

Review of Mills Meadow from Helen S (Daughter of Resident) published on 16 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Unfortunately when my mother could no longer live alone, we had to make the difficult decision to look for a care home, we looked at a few, but Mills Meadow was always my top choice, and it was a big relief to me when she was excepted. From the moment we entered, we were amazed at the surroundings, the staff were very kind , and luckily mum like it too. Unfortunately I live overseas, so I don't see the everyday runnings, but the staff are amazing, and I'm sure dealing with dementia residents is not easy. Mum always seems happy, when we have our weekly chats, and says the staff are more like friends. My mum's room is lovely, with a lovely patio outside, and a large bathroom.

Can't thank Mills Meadows staff enough for all they do. I'm truly grateful
