Prince George House staff took great care of my Grandmother in her later years, they even attended her funeral and said a few words there which meant a lot to us. Thank you for the care that you provide!

My uncle, for whom I am legally responsible, has now been at Hartismere over 3 years and the care and support of all the staff there has been quite exceptional throughout. This includes everyone from the manager to the carers, kitchen staff and cleaners, with a high degree of direct personal interest in his wellbeing. He's not just a resident, he is treated as a friend and almost family.

Some years ago I needed to arrange for my father to go into residential care and that too was 'a very nice place', but the level of interest in his wellbeing and communication with me was quite different. It wasn't bad, but nor was it exceptional as it is with the Hartismere staff. In short, I am delighted with selecting Hartismere and could not have wished for better care and genuine interest in him during his final years. It is quite a special place with staff almost being friends to me, let alone my uncle. Unconditionally recommended

We have been delighted with the standard of care provided to my mum over the last year. She moved in early November 2025 and was immediately helped to feel comfortable. The level of personalisation of care has been very impressive. My mum sometimes has periods when she refuses meals or refuses to sit in the dining room. When this happens she is given grazing plates of fresh fruit and tasty things to tempt her, Staff have also been lovely to my Dad when he visits - recognising that this has also been a difficult time of adjustment for him.

ALL the staff are very good and helpfull as I have only been here a month.

My mother always enjoys her stays, especially the interactions with her peers. On leaving, her description of the home is: "It's quite posh here. It's rather nice." When asked about her stay, she definitely says it's very comfortable.

Very welcoming day care centre. James is both kind and friendly while being professional - he gives me a detailed summary of my wife's welfare at the end of each day.

It's great to know mum is being looked after to a high standard at Cedrus and has been made to feel at home in not on only in her room and ward, but amongst the wider care home areas too. The staff are amazing are make sure she is having the best time, whether that's in the safety of home itself, or on any of the regular trips out she partakes in. It really is a weight off our shoulders know she is being look after to such a high standard and has been welcomed into the home like an important family member. The staff are not only professional in terms of work, but also warm, inviting and friendly to mum's family when we all visit too. A blessing for mum to be able to have this experience in her later years whilst suffering with dementia. Big thanks to the whole Cedrus Team x

Throughout the Staff are helpful, efficient, well-dressed and, importantly, attentive and friendly with the residents addressing them by name.

My husband started at Mills Meadow in April 2026 having been highly recommended by a neighbour. It is an excellent Day Centre. The Manager was so friendly, welcoming, understanding and knowledgeable on his taster day and is helpful to me too. She cares for and supports the family as much as the person attending. I am not the only one to go into her office in tears, come out feeling a lot better. All the staff are lovely & have got to know my husband. £60 per day (including a 3 course lunch) is worth every penny.

My mum moved into Cedrus House at the start of the year, and it has been a joy to watch how she has changed over the last five months. She has fully engaged in all the activities on offer and really enjoys the frequent trips out. The feel of the place, from the moment you walk in, is one of a home from home, and the staff have all been brilliant with mum. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

My husband has been a regular at Davers Club Daycare for the last two years. He has settled in well, James and the team have worked hard to help him be content and relaxed on the two days a week that he attends. The club is well run with a variety of activities, the lunchtime meal is very good. They are also very flexible if I ask to add or change a day. I would definitely recommend Davers Club.

My wife always comes away with a smile. Obviously I benefit from having free time to myself while she is in the Centre. This service has been a great help to me.

My dad moved in to Kentford Manor on 19.3.2026 after a spell in hospital.

Right from the start he has been cared for extremely well from all members of staff. They are always happy and cheerful and are very polite and helpful to us when we go and visit dad. He is happy there and they try to include him in the various fun days and regular events. He enjoys the music lady coming to visit him on Thursdays so that he can have a sing along. We feel he is being very well looked after. The entertainment staff are very good at organising events and entertainment, nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff.

This review is not about 1 month, it relates to the period between November 2023 to August 2026. In the entire time, my husband has attended Davers Court day center, the care & support and the staff have been excellent! He enjoys every day he goes, and I leave him knowing he is in good hands. Thank you to all the staff for your care.

Lovely staff, amazing care, great attitudes. Love the activities arranged, couldn't have found a better place for my mum. They fully understand the idiosyncrasies of old age and the conditions that come with it and mange them with kindness and grace.
