Welcoming, friendly and pleasant staff who are ready to assist where necessary when I visit my friend. She reports feeling well cared for (even though she sometimes has to point out some small things are not to her personal choice). She is provided with "non menu" food to suit her preferences. Overall
I feel that should I need full time care that Kentford Manor would be a good place to receive it.

I cannot praise Glastonbury Court highly enough for the way they are looking after my dad, with his dementia and other needs. During a very tough period of time looking after my mum with her own issues, it's been an utter relief to know that dad is being cared for in such an exemplary way. Even though
I have felt guilty about not being able to visit, the staff at GC have given me the confidence to know I can leave his care in their safe hands. It's so good, my mum is probably going there for her care needs too!

My wife was diagnosed with dementia some 10 years or more ago, and has been in the care of Asterbury these last 2 years.
In the main my wife is perfectly happy and more often then not in a jovial mood, sadly she has her bad days, but that is of course down to the terrible disease.
I visit most days
and invariably it's a pleasure, the Manager and the staff are all most welcoming and do take an interest in you as much as the resident.
Rooms and public areas are all maintained to a high standard which of course from my perspective is important, as I would hate for my wife to be in a place where the standards are not so high.
The care offered by Asterbury does appear to be very good, i do think they go the extra mile in the care of the residents, which of course is what's important.

I want to thank the care team of Orchards suite as they worked diligently to find a precious item of my mum's that helps her to recognise her room. It had been missing and as soon as it was brought to their attention the team leader found it and put it back into the room. The Activities team are just
excellent people in their job and bring a happy smile to mum's face when she sees them. It's always a happy home when I go into visit mum. I would highly recommend this care home.

Prince George House

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My elderly mum, who has Alzheimer's and Dementia, attended the Prince George House Day Centre on Fridays, which was beneficial for her and gave my brother, her primary carer, some respite. After a bad reaction to antibiotics for a UTI, she lost her mobility. We contacted Prince George House for respite
care. The Day Centre Manager, visited us at home to explain the process, and Mum agreed to go in. The Home is lovely, bright, and airy, with welcoming staff. We could visit anytime, and dogs were welcome. The night staff were friendly, and I felt reassured that Mum was in safe hands. There were plenty of activities, and Mum's room had an ensuite, TV, and a big window. The Home arranged for a physio to visit, and they kept us informed about any issues or changes. Mum stayed in respite for just over a month. When we needed her to stay longer due to equipment delivery delays, the Home accommodated us. When Mum left, she could sit up and stand with aid. Thank you so much to all the team!

Overall, her quality

The staff cared for my Aunty and me as well!! Despite the short time my Aunty was there she picked up quickly after a hospital stay. It was wonderful to see her up and dressed, nails painted and wonderful care. From the admin staff, carers, nurses, manager and assistant manager they all played their
part. They took the time to listen and were so keen to know about her so they could support her in every way. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

My grandmother was moved here after several years of being in a much poorer care home for end of life care. I was really impressed with the cleanliness and facilities on offer and the level of care was also superior. I only wish she could have been moved here sooner to benefit from what this care home
offers.
