I can't thank the wonderful team at this care home enough for the kindness, compassion, and dedication they show every day in looking after my Dad. From the moment he arrived, they have made him feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.


The staff are always friendly, patient, and treat every

resident with dignity and respect. It's clear they truly care about the people they look after, and that gives our family real peace of mind. The home is always clean, welcoming, and has such a warm atmosphere.


Knowing that my Dad is happy and well looked after means the world to us. We are incredibly grateful for everything the team does and would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for exceptional care for a loved one.

The staff and manager Darren have been very kind and considerate towards my brother, who had very aggressive behaviour. Looking for the right home is hard, but as soon as I walked into the lobby, I received a warm welcome with a cup of tea from the manager. Having looked around several homes, this one stood out. All the staff greeted me warmly. My husband has settled in well, and the staff are both kind and compassionate
to both me and him as we get used to a different life. He is always immaculately dressed, and a lovely menu is on offer every day. He has a bright, large bedroom, and everywhere feels calm and relaxed. I am so grateful for finding this place and feeling like I can let go and trust he is being well looked after. Thank you to everyone who works together to make this place a home.

My mother has been a resident at Park View Home for seven months. The experience has been very positive. All the staff are kind, patient and attentive, taking time to get to know her and I feel happy as I know she is very well cared for. Park View is a lovely, clean, comfortable and welcoming home for
all residents and their families. The food looks and smells good and they are varied. The staff keep me up to date with Mum's health and care, for which I am deeply grateful. I would and do recommend Park View Care Home to other families, who are looking for a supportive, compassionate environment.

My sisters and me met with the manager this morning. Very positive meeting about our brother. The manager was very understanding and kind. We had a good outcome and we are happy that our brother will stay in the care home.

My nan is well looked after at Park View. She is on the dementia suite. Staff engage with her well and encourage her to join in on activities which she enjoys. Staff are aware of how important family is to my nan and know of our family so can talk to nan about us when we are not there and this gives
her reassurance. The home always smells clean, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I also get to have meals with my nan when I visit. Nan always looks well looked after. She is very happy there. Staff always show support to us. It was a difficult decision to make to move Nan into a home, but Park View helped us with this process and it was the best decision.

Mum has been resident for less than a month. Her experience has been excellent, and has exceeded our expectations from the initial visit to her moving into her room. She is well cared for and everyone is helpful and polite. We have introduced a whiteboard for all the staff to communicate with Mum as
she is profoundly deaf. This has been very successful and we have noticed that staff leave sweet little messages and pictures on it. Thank you Park View for making Mum's life so comofrtable and happy.

My father (Boster) has been at Park View Care Centre for approx 3 months. The staff are amazing, he is well looked after, he is always clean-shaven and clean. The food is very good and mostly homemade. My father is treated with dignity and respect. The carers are very smiley and seem very happy in their
work and it shines through. When I come to visit I'm always offered a cup of tea with my father and I can always eat with him in the restaurant. 10/10 my rating.

When Mum went into your care 3 years ago, she was unable to walk unaided and was very frail and weak. Over time, with the care and encouragement of the staff, she was able to walk and mobilise. She enjoyed all the activities, was happy and settled and responded well to any treatments and medical needs.
She made many friends among staff, other residents and their relatives and led a full and happy life to the age of 98. Sadly, she passed away on 23rd May 2026 in her room with family beside her. The staff were very supportive, kind and compassionate, and she was treated with dignity and respect.

My mother has been shown nothing but care and compassion. The staff that I have met are engaging and dedicated to making my mum feel happy and part of a family. To quote her, they cannot do enough for her, and it does feel like home.This can only be good for her well-being and mental health. Therefore,

Generally all staff are friendly and respectful. My wife is being looked after as required, i.e., feeding, giving medicine, cleaning and changing regularly on time. She seems to be comfortable in the home.

I appreciate that Withens Nursing Home is located in a very old- fashioned building, but feel the interior needs a lot of updating. The rooms are adequate but shabby, and some of the furnishings are hardly fit for purpose. Overall, the staff are good and very helpful, always pleasant. My husband has
not gone from his room, so I cannot comment on activities.

Visited an old work colleague a resident there, found the home spotlessly clean, the staff were very caring and friendly.The food looked lovely.The surrounding were very nice.

Our family are new to care homes and it is a very traumatic experience for the patients, as well as family, we felt at ease immediately on our first visit having experienced a very upsetting placement. I and my family can only praise the attention, professionalism and genre and ambience of all the staff,
carers and management. They have made the transition from hospital to home so carefree. This home cares and I can sleep easier knowing he is receiving the attention and care I can no longer provide myself. We can also enjoy the activities with him well done keep up the good work.

After a series of falls in her own flat, I managed to get a place for my mum in Park View Care Centre in October 2024. Right from the beginning, I felt mum was in a much safer environment. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very welcoming. There are many activities for the residents to join in
with, should they wish to. The management and nursing staff are first class, although some of the night staffing provided by agency staff could be better. I would highly recommend Park View Care Centre.

My mother was referred to Maidstone Care Centre from the general hospital. When we had to choose a permanent home, mum decided she would like to stay in Maidstone Care Centre. The staff are very friendly, patient and caring. The home has a quiet, relaxed and respectful atmosphere. The nursing care was
high quality, and the nurses would consistently liaise with mums doctor, so we never felt she was neglected. The nurses are also very knowledgeable themselves.
