Riverside Lodge has proved to be an excellent home for my grandmother with a family friendly environment with wonderful caring staff and daily activities. The food is exceptional and varied. Visiting numerous times weekly I've experienced much of the daily lives of residents and feel confident that they are well cared for.

Relative moving into care home was made very easy with helpful , attentive , friendly staff and an informative , supportive caring Manager. We feel we struck lucky with our choice of care home for our relative who has Alzheimer's

My grandparent moved in just over 1 year ago. All of the staff have worked so hard to keep her happy. We have had a rough ride with lots of new challenging health situations. They have always kept us up to date with emails or phone calls. Its such a peace of mind. I feel we can ask any questions openly and they always adapt to find a new solution. Also all the staff have been a great emotional support for us and always have a listening ear and genuine empathy to watching an aging relative deteriorate.. I feel they are well cared for. I do feel sometimes they could do with a few extra hands as sometimes the help is spread a bit thin. So I hope more staff can be arranged in time at the new home as its more vast now but very comfortable and beautiful. Thankyou all for your hard work.

The staff at Courtland Lodge have always been so patient, supportive and helpful. My father is very well cared for and all his needs are met. Courtland keep me updated regularly and I feel I can always approach them regarding any matters of dads care. The home is constantly cleaned and tidy. Their food always looks well prepared and an excellent selection. Mealtimes and a cup of tea are dads favourite parts of his day.

The care home took very good care of my husband, so that I could have a holiday. They helped him mobilise more than he does at home, encouraging him to go into the dining room and lounge, he was not interested in joining in the activities that were offered.

Its like a 5* hotel. Amazing staff freindly, profesional, and caring. Facility's are great.

Whenever family visit they are made to feel welcome and fully involved in our mother's care. Activities are varied well planned and enjoyable. The home is very clean and my mother's room is always spotless. The housekeeping team along with all the staff do an excellent job. My mum is very happy and is being well looked after at Belmont. I cannot thank them all enough

My mother has been a resident at Riverside Lodge for 2 years and has been looked after extremely well by all of the staff. Recently my mother had to go to hospital by ambulance, all was handled very well, my mother is back and on new medication and being monitored by the doctor. And is doing well. Enjoying the very good care, great food and fantastic activities. It is extremely comforting for all of the family to know our mother is being so well cared for and that she is safe and living in a very pleasant and clean environment.

Our cousin (Angela) came to Riverside Lodge in Spring 25. We have been very impressed with the excellent care she has received. Staff are consistently kind, caring and respectful. Angela is very well looked after. She has a lovely room and loves the food. She speaks well of her carers. We feel that she is thriving here.

The new premises are excellent for the resisdents, lots of space & excellent decor. The care service is just as great & all of the staff are very pleasant, friendly & attentive (as always). This makes for a very warm & friendly enviroment.

My uncle John lived at Melwood Grange for 11 months before he passed away. He really liked living there and made lots of friends. He especially enjoyed the music & singing entertainment that the home provides. He had been very lonely living on his own before moving in, and I saw a huge improvement in him over the 11 months that he was with you all - Thank you to all the staff, you are all wonderful.

I found the staff very helpful in every way and was completely satisfied with my total care.

Mum has been a resident at Riverside Lodge for just over a year. She tried out several homes via short respite stays, and we all agreed that Riverside was the best for her needs. As it is a purpose built home that has opened in the last few years, the environment is modern and attractive, and there are plenty of activities to appeal to residents with differing likes and needs. However most importantly the staff are lovely - consistently kind and caring. Mum is happy and therefore so are we.

The new Home is very pleasant, modern, clean, lovely big bedrooms, nicely lit, very comfortable. Staff are doing a great job adapting to new protocols/practices, as pleasant & helpful as they always have been. Overall a glowing report for the transition, but a few little niggles/glitches which I'm sure will be ironed out. At least in Hedgerow, there is a serious lack of plastic drinking beakers... surely these must be at hand for ALL residents who need them. Notice boards & circulars about activities don't seem to have appeared yet... or have I just missed them? Need to sort out how to stick/attach pictures on the wall. My own partner resident misses the frequent interactions that were possible with some staff at the previous home... here there seems to be a choice only between being in solitary in her room & being in the TV lounge, which I don't think suits her... but I guess she will just need to get used to this... in this regard she was rather spoilt at the previous home!

It was a very lovely care home with lots of security to get it so your loved ones are safe. Staff are really friendly and build relations with Residents and their families. Very modern building with cafe, cinema room , nail salon and celebration rooms.

My Mother went in to Melwood Grange for 3 months respite following surgery. We could not have found a better home for her. Every single member of staff were wonderful and beyond kind and caring. The staff almost became like family and we were very sad when it was time to leave. The whole place is spotlessly clean and fresh with wonderful facilities. Alison the manager runs the home exceptionally well yet is still so kind and caring to all the residents and always makes the effort to chat to them. I had never visited a care home like this before and it exceeded our expectations in every way.

Dad gets such excellent care at Beane Riiver and has lived here since Summer 2019. They are specialists in dementia care and alongside this show such care, empathy and concern for their residents and have walked alongside him, supporting him as his dementia has progressed.

Deciding that mum should move to Riverside Lodge was a huge decision and the manager and deputy manager couldn't have been more supportive. They were happy to answer questions and offer reassurance, and worked with me to ensure that the transition was as smooth as possible for mum. Now that mum has lived there for over six months, I can see how the care staff have got to know her. They are kind and patient and treat mum with dignity and respect. The activities staff are wonderful, working hard to provide interesting and meaningful experiences and looking for ways to reach all residents, not just those who come to group activities. They even take mum and some other residents to St Mary's next door for the service on Sunday mornings. There's a warm welcome from the staff on the reception desk, a bright and airy café to enjoy and comfortable lounges on every floor. I'm so grateful to all the staff at Riverside Lodge who go out of their way to make mum (and me!) feel so at home.

As my father's dementia causes more decline in his abilities, the carers and activity staff have adapted to keep him as mobile and stimulated as possible. I have witnessed all staff show caring and compassion to him. I am so glad that we picked Riverside Lodge to care for him.
