Our aunt stayed for three weeks and said that she had found her stay very relaxing. The staff were friendly, helpful and lovely to be around, they made her feel very welcome.
Her room had en-suite facilities and meant she was able to continue her independence at all times.
The food was very good
and a continuous supply of tea, biscuits and cake.
Before the stay our aunt was very negative about staying but has now said that she would definitely stay there again if she ever needed to.

Reply from Cristian Tarus, Home Manager at Acacia House - Tenterden

Thank you for sharing such lovely feedback about your aunt's stay with us. We're delighted to hear that she felt so welcome, comfortable, and well cared for during her time here. It's especially heartening to know she enjoyed the food and regained confidence about future stays. Your kind words mean a lot to our team.

I found the staff to be cheerful and professional. On the rare occasions I wanted to discuss any subject ranging from obtaining equipment to food requirements both the nursing staff and senior management were approachable and responsive.
When Dad had bouts of illness the staff communicated well and
responded quickly to the situation.
Dad's room was bright and airy and he settled in very quickly, forming a good bond with the staff. He found much happiness in his final few months and the family are grateful for the staff for making that possible.

The staff are very friendly and looked after my husband really well. He was not able to join in some activities due to poor eyesight, but they tried to find things for him to do - exercises, etc.
The food was usually very well presented, and staff were on hand to help if necessary.
His room was comfortable
and airy. The garden was well maintained and nice to sit out in on good days.

Our family have been delighted with the care my mother in law has received. We have been so very impressed by the expertise of the staff. We can totally relax now, which we couldn't do previously. It is a great relief for me to see her stress level reduce and no longer looking traumatised and shell-shocked.
At each visit, we see the same staff and they know my mother in law so well. Thank you all for caring for my mother in law so well.

My husband went in for respite care and sadly has not been able to come out. I have found every member of staff from the manager, admin, nurses, cleaners and all the wonderful carers to be engaged, cheerful and attentive to his and my needs. It is a pleasure to visit. My husband loves the home cooked
meals and the surroundings are always clean and tidy. If I think I have a problem it is always dealt with speedily and with care.

Reply from Cristian Tarus, Home Manager at Acacia House - Tenterden

My mum has been at Creedy Care Home now for 12 years and she has received the best care that anyone could ask for their loved ones my mum has been none verbal now for a few years but all the staff that care for her understand when she is not her normal self or when she has been ill and in some cases
very poorly but because of the care she receives that is why she is still with us thankfully and all the staff are brilliant and friendly and easy to approach if I have any questions to ask and they always keep me informed of any changes to my mum which helps me understand her illness better i honestly believe the care that she receives is the reason she is still with us

It is a lovely nursing home. The nurses and carers are great, and really care about the residents. There seem to be lots of activities for the residents, and many visitors - even a pony! There are singers, chair aerobics, sing-a-longs and artists that give art lessons. It's a bright, cheery place with
a good energy about it.

Its so good to see the daily interaction between staff and the residents. On so many occasions I see my wife befriended and actively included with them during their daily tasks.
Its also not a problem to just pop your head into the office for a quick catch regarding any ongoing situations that may
have occurred and be listened to and appropriate action taken where necessary.

The staff at the nursing home are attentive to the residents needs at all times. The staff are kind, reassuring and extremely patient in their dealings with all residents. The staff are also very friendly to visitors; offering information or refreshment that is required. Creedy House is kept very clean
and well maintained indoors. There are many items of interest on the walls intended to trigger happy memories for all. I am confident in leaving my loved one in their care.

The Manger and her team are amazing. The looked after my Father extremely well and attended to all his needs. They always had a chat with family when visiting and made us all feel relaxed and happy that my Father was being cared for in a caring way. The team talked to my Father as though he was a friend
and it was lovely to see my Father smile at them when chatting. Creedy House is highly recommended.

My mother spent 2 weeks at Acacia House for respite. They couldnt have done more for her and us. Very kind, professional and attentive team. Cleanliness and health and safety spot on. I visited twice per day for 2 weeks and always witnessed first class care for my mother and other residents. It's
homely and has a great atmosphere due to the wonderful care team. Always plenty of team members on hand. Always there to answer queries and provide support for us as a family.

I have chosen February as a month to review, but really this is for all of the past months because what the incredible staff do is consistent and give 100% to all the residents in Acacia House. every day. This has not changed since my mother came to stay in February 2023. In that time, my mother has
been cared for in a kind and compassionate way . All the staff , from the managers , to the nurses, to the kitchen staff and caregivers are genuinely beautiful humans giving of themselves to help the residents on their journey. Thank you so much.

My mother has been a resident at Acacia House for the past year. During that time it has become apparent that my wife and I now have an extended family which we are so grateful for. From the management, nurses, carers, general staff including cooks, laundry maintenance to cleaning staff and gardener.
I have nothing but praise for them all. My mother is generally in her room but am aware that one to one activities are maintained. A huge plus for my mother, would recommend Acacia House to all.

My brother and I are very happy with the care our mum receives. She has been at Acacia for two years. The staff are very caring, respectful and attentive. We are kept up to date with any changes in Mum's condition and our wishes are respected. Management is very kind and approachable and I believe the
home to be well run. The food has improved over the two years and Mum is offered a balanced diet that is tailored to her needs. We're very happy with Acacia House.
