I can't express the highest of care for my husband over a year and a half. The nurses, the care staff and management were second to none in every possible way. They were caring and made our visits easy . We can't praise them enough. My husband thought of everyone as family , which made it easier for
us. Well done Acacia for making my husband dementia journey easier to manage too.

When my partners mother entered Creedy House in March I was very sceptical RE care homes, but I find it a lovely experience visiting on a regular basis. Everybody from senior management down to carers, cooks, cleaners etc are so well trained, compassionate and look after their service users in an impeccable
way. Also the input into activities for the clients is second to none. Well done to all at Creedy House.

Acacia House has welcomed my mum, who has a range of needs related to dementia and frailty, and given her a happy and safe place to be. There are so many staff who are always welcoming and supportive to my mum and to myself. The home has lovely rooms and space for visiting or spending time. The nurses
are always available to talk to for support and information. My mum has already made some good friends and is being cared for incredibly well.

Very happy with the care home, and christian the manager, is always very helpful and kind, and emily, very friendly, and loving, all the carers are very kind and look after david very well, meals are very good, but maybe too many vegetables, and food is not always very hot, care home is always very

My dad was in Creedy House for about 7 weeks before he passed. The manageress, Nesta, and all her staff supported dad with dignity, respect and empathy for the entire time he was there, the care was excellent. There was plenty of social stimulation for him in the lounge when he was able to be with others,
and the music and singing were especially appreciated as dad loved music and dancing. The staff did their utmost to support dad with his eating and general care, and provided excellent empathic nursing care throughout. Nesta is lovely, and was a huge support for me while dad was at the Creedy, and along with all her staff made me, my mum and family feel supported and welcome whenever we visited dad. A lovely care home and highly recommended!
Reply from Nesta Hollyer, Registered Home Manager at Creedy HouseThank you kindly for the review. It was an absolute pleasure to care for your father and support you and your mum at what I know was a very difficult time. I will pass your gratitude on to the staff.

My dad was admitted to Acacia House on September 5th with complex nursing and care needs. It was a difficult time for us, very emotional and distressing. I cannot praise the management team highly enough. They are exemplary. They have looked after Dad with professionalism and compassion: It is rare
to find both these days, sadly. And the support and care they have extended to me has been over and above anything I have experienced before. Thank you!

My father spent almost a month at Acacia House during the last few weeks of his life. He was terminal and deteriorating fast but I can honestly say that despite the circumstances, both my father and I were thoroughly pleased with the team, his room and his overall care. From the moment my father arrived
to the moment of his passing he was treated with dignity, respect and utmost care. The facilities are very clean and pleasant. The staff are patient and caring. They answered all of my questions and took the time to ensure I was kept in the loop with his treatment and medication. Overall, I am pleased with every aspect of his stay at Acacia House and would highly recommend it.
Reply from Cristian Tarus, Home Manager at Acacia House - TenterdenThank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. My dad moved from another care home into Creedy House. I had been unhappy with the previous home from lack of care and stimulation and activities. Also lack of full knowledge of Type 1 diabetes and the provision needed to care for my dad with diabetes and other age related illnesses. On arriving at
Creedy House my family and dad were made very welcome and reassured of care and understanding of his needs. I was finally content to elae my dad in a professional setting and care of others. My dad passed 3 weeks after arriving and was happy he had moved and given the respect and care at the end of his life.

Our aunt stayed for three weeks and said that she had found her stay very relaxing. The staff were friendly, helpful and lovely to be around, they made her feel very welcome.
Her room had en-suite facilities and meant she was able to continue her independence at all times.
The food was very good
and a continuous supply of tea, biscuits and cake.
Before the stay our aunt was very negative about staying but has now said that she would definitely stay there again if she ever needed to.

I found the staff to be cheerful and professional. On the rare occasions I wanted to discuss any subject ranging from obtaining equipment to food requirements both the nursing staff and senior management were approachable and responsive.
When Dad had bouts of illness the staff communicated well and
responded quickly to the situation.
Dad's room was bright and airy and he settled in very quickly, forming a good bond with the staff. He found much happiness in his final few months and the family are grateful for the staff for making that possible.

The staff are very friendly and looked after my husband really well. He was not able to join in some activities due to poor eyesight, but they tried to find things for him to do - exercises, etc.
The food was usually very well presented, and staff were on hand to help if necessary.
His room was comfortable
and airy. The garden was well maintained and nice to sit out in on good days.
