My mother has been a resident at Woodlands for 3 years now. Throughout her time there she has been very happy about the care she receives from everyone. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are there at a push of her button. At 102 yrs now she is more frail causing her care to be readjusted
and more closely monitored which the management have dealt with superbly. All the family feel very happy to have found this care home for her.

It's difficult moving a loved one to a care home and there is inevitably a settling in period. After a challenging initial time Mum has settled in remarkably well. She looks and seems well and is much more engaged and lively than when she was at home. The staff are exceptional - polite, caring and welcoming.
Importantly Mum seems to both respect and like them.
Moving Mum to Hill House has been the right decision and I'm relieved to see her enjoying her twilight years.

My mother has been at Hillbrow for over 3 years, it's was originally emotionally so hard to move her from her home and I was so worried she would decline.
However the opposite happened my mum gained weight and her health improved.
I cannot thank the team enough, they are amazing, kind and loving
mixed in with a lot of laughter.

All the staff at Woodlands are very caring, approachable, friendly and supportive to us and our mother. We know that she is safe; her wellbeing and daily care are exceptional. They ensure she, along with all the other residents, has regular outings and, along with mental stimulation, etc on a daily
basis. We as a family have regular updates on how she is doing, and they are extremely approachable if we have any concerns or wish to have a discussion. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am very impressed with the care and attention to detail my aunt has received since recently moving to Woodlands. They made her feel very welcome on her arrival, listening carefully to her preferences and since then have been extremely helpful. They have also been very good at organising an early GP
review and giving my aunt several opportunities to go out on trips which she has enjoyed.

The staff are very caring and approachable when guidance/help is needed. The safety/security section was graded satisfactory due to a couple of nighttime instances with 2 different residents entering my mother's bedroom during the night, causing distress. The rooms are overall good, but could do with
plumper pillows on the bed.

I couldn't be happier with the care my parents receive from all the staff at Woodlands. Nothing is too much trouble! The staff are all very attentive, friendly and caring. Residents, relatives and friends alike, are all made to feel extremely welcome. There is a very cheerful atmosphere at Woodlands
and there are beautiful gardens to have a wander round, with seating dotted around if you fancy a rest under a shady tree. Lots of activities, chair exercises, go on during the day to keep minds and bodies active too. Food is lovely, they do BBQ's and afternoon teas as well. They have singers and entertainment and outings too. It really is an exceptional place. My parents are very happy there and I'm glad they are somewhere safe and all their needs are catered to by an extremely professional and caring team. Thank you all at Woodlands!

I have been visiting my friend's Mum here for nearly two years and I have to say what a warm and friendly, more like family, environment the home is. She is usually having a laugh with one of the staff who are all polite, helpful and caring. There is a wide variety of activities to keep the residents
stimulated, including outings each week. The food is excellent, again a varied choice each day. The family BBQ's and quiz nights are very popular. A lovely place for loved ones to be cared for and safe.

My mum has been in the care home for 3 months now and we are so pleased with the care and support she has received. Like many, it was a very difficult decision, she has dementia but wanted to stay in her own home. My brother and I made the decision to move her as we were worried about how she was coping
at home and we wanted to be closer geographically to her. The first few days were unsettling but now we can visit at any time, she is always pleased to see us and she gets involved with activities every day! She has settled in extremely well and all the staff have been absolutely fantastic. She is still mobile but has support with hygiene and dressing. She loves the food and the structure of the day really suits her. We cannot recommend the care home enough. Thank you!

Our last visit was to see our mum as she passed away. The staff looked after mum 24 hours a day when we were not there. When we visited we were given tea, coffee ,cakes and biscuits and later home made sandwiches from the kitchen. We were told that if we wanted to stay over there was a room for us.Mum
was at the home for four years the care she received was always first class. The staff from kitchen, reception, care, nursing, activities and office have always been caring attentive and friendly. They have all done a marvellous job from day one. They are all heroes in my eyes.

My Mother was in the dementia section of Hill House for two months until her death. We chose Hill House because she had been there on two previous occasions, for respite care, and we knew that she would be well looked after.
The staff were, without exception, amazing. They were attentive to her needs,
warm and caring, smiling and cheerful. They always maintained her dignity, and I never felt that she was neglected in any way. My Mother was able to do absolutely nothing for herself, but the staff were patient, never rushed or complained, they just dealt with everything gently, and at the right pace for my Mother.
It was a difficult time for me when my Mother was so ill, and we knew that the end was close. But the staff always greeted me warmly, would ask me how I was doing, made me a never ending supply of cups of tea, and would give me hugs when I became tearful. So I felt as if they were actually caring for both of us.

Warm, friendly welcome l asked for somewhere we could go and sit quietly as this was my first visit to the home, we were shown to a very nice quiet room so l could talk with my sister who hearing difficulties hearing with noise and lots going on around her. We had been invited that afternoon to a entertainment
afternoon which was very nicely presented, only problem not enough chairs had not been put out, noted food was very nice but had been put out into a very open sunny spot, needed shading as cream and cakes were in full sunlight. The garden was beautiful full of colour l could see a lot work evolved .

Since moving into Hill House, Mum has received excellent care from all the staff. We are notified about all aspects of her care and her care plan is reviewed regularly with us. There are also updates about the varied and fun activities that residents can choose to be involved in. What really stands

My Mum has been a resident since July 2024, she has dementia and needs full time nursing care. The staff have been amazing at making her welcome and helping her to settle in. We get regular updates about how mum is doing and if there are any issues that come up, which is very reassuring. The staff
are also very welcoming to us when we visit, which really helps make time we spend with Mum as relaxing as possible. I have seen how the staff reassure the residents when they are distressed, including my Mum. There are lots of different activities that the staff encourage Mum to join in with, and it is lovely to see some of the photos from these events. The overall care provided is very good, and it a very safe and caring environment.

You cannot improve on perfection. It is one of the best I have been in (I have visited quite a lot and I used to have a pet as a therapy dog/dogs) for 21 years. They were caring, friendly and my dear friend who is there is so very happy. She looks so well since she has been in Woodlands. The facilities

My mum continues to receive excellent care. She is loved and valued by the staff and treated with respect and dignity. The continuity of care staff and nurses is highly valued and communication between them and myself is ongoing and informative. The relationships I have built with staff during the last
three years have meant that each visit to mum is like visiting family; a significant part of the support needed whilst watching a loved one decline.
This is a hideous disease but knowing that my mum is safe and well cared for every day makes a huge difference to her family.
Thankyou .
