Yaxley House proved ideal for my weeks convalescence after a major operation. The caring staff are exceptional, so friendly, helpful and professional. The beautiful rectangular courtyard is a lovely place to walk and enjoy fresh air. My main wish was that the rooms had a shower in their ensuite.
Above
all, it is the wonderful staff that make the Yaxley House special.

Grandad & Nan enjoy their time here. The staff go above & beyond to provide lovely days out that would not have been possible if they were still at their own home. It brings relief to my mum to know that they're being well looked after & fed nice warm meals every day. They can enjoy the company of others
whilst having their own space if they feel like watching their own TV or being alone.

National Grandparents Day.
Another wow! The dining room was full of residents and their families, lots of chatter, smiles and wonderful atmosphere. A table was set with delicious food, which two staff members served at the tables. Sandwiches, crisps, cakes, patries, chocolate bars, sausage rolls and
endless supply of beverages. So nice to see the residents happy & smiling. Treats were on the table and a raffle was called. Yet again another fantastic get together thank you!

Woodbridge Lodge Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I have been very impressed with the care my mother has received at Woodbridge Lodge. The first time I walked into the Lodge, when I was choosing a place for mum, I was struck by the kindness, fun , and warmth I observed.
Mum has now been a resident for 6 months. I have found the staff to be consistently
caring and endeavouring to meet my mums needs. For her 90th birthday the staff decorated the place beautifully and produced an amazing homemade cake. Our family were very touched.
When I visit I am always made to feel very welcome. I have been very impressed with the number and range of activities on offer. The garden is very well cared for and has been a real source of pleasure for mum.
The communication between staff and myself is vey good and the management very professional.

My father received excellent care at the home, he and all the family, were always made to feel very welcome and greeted with a friendly smile. The staff all went out of their way to accommodate dad's requests and nothing seemed to be too much. All of the staff had time when we had any questions or problems,
never making us feel rushed.
We are also grateful that the home was able to handle his end-of-life care, fulfilling his wish not to die in hospital. His final week was challenging, due to his failing heath but all his issues and problems were resolved quickly, with professionalism and always good humour.
