Highcliffe Nursing Home

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
This is the second nursing home my mother in law has been in, and through other family members, I have seen many others. This home is one of the best. The staff are very welcoming and have a passion and dedication to look after the resident in their care. The level of cleanliness and catering is extremely
high, and the engagement with relatives regarding the introduction of new menus. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home to anyone who is considering placing their relative here.

We are so pleased we chose Queen Charlotte's for mum. The team are fantastic. Everyone, which ever part of the home they work, is enthusiastic and dedicated to their job to make the residents experience the best possible. The activities team work hard to engage residents and provide enjoyable experience
for families to share with their loved ones. The food is lovely and carefully prepared to cater for the residents needs. The environment is beautiful, having been recently fully refurbished throughout. Thank you for all the care you give mum to provide the best possible experience for her.

Olney Meadows Nursing Home

from Debbie D (Daughter of Resident) published on 2 April 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
When Mum came to Olney Meadows she wasn't eating, had poor health, multiple hospital stays and overall poor motivation for life. After 3 months she is eating, taking part in activities and this week she asked me to find her knitting which she has not touched for at least a decade. This week she has
completed a pottery flower, won a prize at bingo and joined in knitting and natter. I've got my mum back.
Reply from Christiana Ajao, Home Manager at Olney Meadows Nursing HomeThank you so much for sharing this it truly means a lot to hear.
It's wonderful to know how much your mum has progressed in such a short time. Seeing her eating well, joining in activities, and even returning to something she loves like knitting after so many years is incredibly special. Moments like winning at bingo and taking part in "knitting and natter" really show her spark coming back.
We're so pleased to hear you feel like you've got your mum back that's exactly what we hope for. Thank you for trusting us with her care and for letting us be part of her journey.

We had such a lovely meal yesterday in the private dining room for Mum's 80th - we were treated so well, staff were so helpful and attentive and Chef's food and attention to detail was amazing

The fact that staff came in to work on their day off says it all thank you team for making her 80th so

My mother has been to sycamore heights 3 times for respite break the last time was in February 2026.
Although my mother finds the respite breaks difficult, she does enjoy the company and the activities especially the chair yoga. I am vey happy with the care and support she gets the staff are great
with her.
The food is varied and excellent quality and will always accommodate the residents.
We often go back to visit and join in the activities in the afternoons and made very welcome when I like to keep mum acquainted.
I have nothing negative to say .

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My wife has now been in Brackley Nursing Home for 18 months and right from the start she has received a high quality of care from all the nurses and carers.
She likes to be involved in the daily activities, especially the arts and crafts. The minibus outings are another favourite. When problems arise
they are sorted out quickly. Anniversaries and birthdays are remembered and the cakes are delicious. Eating is not high on her priorities, but the carers always make sure she is provided for. The whole house is very clean and tidy.
I now don't have to worry so much and a huge weight has been lifted.

We moved my elderly mum into Brackley Care Home recently and can say that all the staff at Brackley have been wonderful. Particularly, Julie who handled all the onboarding and smoothed out the process. The facilities are all modern, the staff courteous and helpful and the food is excellent. It's a nice

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Living some considerable distance from Allonsfield House, I initially had to rely upon telephone contact to speak to an old friend with dementia who was resident at the home. I was always spoken to politely by members of the staff who connected me with my friend and we were able to have a conversation.
I subsequently visited the home on a number of occasions and found the staff friendly , caring towards the residents and the home was clean and appeared well maintained. I managed to send birthday and Xmas gifts to my friend and was assisted with this by Ben and Victoria who were most helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Reply from Bishnu lamichhane, Home Manager at Allonsfield House Nursing HomeDear Huw,
Thank you for taking the time to share your kind feedback about Allonsfield House. We are pleased to hear that you were able to stay in touch with your friend and that our team supported you with telephone calls and visits.

It is lovely to know that you found the home clean, welcoming, and that our staff were friendly and caring. Ben and Victoria will be especially pleased to hear your kind comments about the help they provided.

Your feedback means a great deal to our team. Thank you again for your thoughtful review.

Kind regards,
