I can rest assured that my husband is safe and well cared for at Redwalls Nursing Home. The manager is very approachable. The nurses and carers are very committed to keeping my husband pain free, clean, comfortable and well fed. The catering and cleaning staff set themselves very high standards. The
activity ladies are both caring and enthusiastic. They arrange a variety of activities throughout the week, which are especially enjoyed out in the lovely garden on sunny afternoons. Everyone who works at Redwalls helps to create a friendly, family atmosphere, which is very uplifting. In time, I hope there will be a place for me at Redwalls too.
Reply from Redwalls Manager, Home Manager at Redwalls Nursing HomeThank you for such a lovely review, I will ensure to pass your comments onto the team.

My father-in-law has been a resident here since February. It was a difficult decision to move him to a home as he was still very mobile but his dementia was deteriorating. After visiting Hadleigh Nursing Home for the first time, it was evident immediately how warm & friendly Hadleigh was & how well
staff were interacting with residents. My father-in-law is very happy here. There is always a varied programme of activities happening & the staff go out of their way to ensure those residents who may not be very mobile are included wherever possible. The grounds are lovely with a secure garden at the rear. The staff do their very best to get residents outside in the garden if it is possible. There are separate lounges on each floor away from the main lounge, conservatory & dining room. All staff take a genuine interest in residents, taking the time to get to know them their hobbies, interests & memories. The food always looks lovely & the menu changes regularly.

Julie has been in Brackley nursing home for over 2 years. She seems very happy and contented and joins in lots of activities. She has her hair done regularly, and our daughter lives nearby and sees Julie regularly with our grandchildren. All in all, we made a very good choice picking this care home
for Julie.
The staff are all wonderful + helpfull.
Reply from Stephanie Eley, Manager at Brackley Nursing HomeWe sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your positive experience with Brackley Care Home. It is very reassuring to hear your observations regarding our staff team, they all go above and beyond to care for our residents and to make our home the best that it can be. I will be sure to share your feedback with all at Brackley Care Home.

My dad has been a resident at Sharston House for 18 months now. He has advanced dementia. All the staff (management, carers, catering, domestic) take time to deliver on exceptional level of care to both my dad and my family. Nothing is too much trouble and I can tell my dad is very settled and happy
and feels quite at home. The activity coordinators/ lifestyle coordinators organise an impressive variety of activities throughout of the week which are engaging and fun. Huge thanks for making a challenging/ sad situation much more bearable xx

I am very happy with the care and consideration of the great team at Sharston House. Our mother, grandmother, great grandmother is very well cared for. She gets wholly involved with the varied daily activities, which is a joy to see. Great team who know her personality well and preempt when she is not
herself. We really appreciated the help Sharston provided in orchestrating a move to a new room, which has a lovely view of the gardens.

My Mother has been staying at Yaxley House for respite care. It is a very welcoming and friendly environment. The staff have been first rate and made my Mother feel at home. She has been taking part in all of the activities and her mobility and general health improved during her stay. Everywhere is
clean and well looked after, you can tell all the staff take pride in their roles. She has made friends and really enjoyed the communal meal times in the dining room. I would particularly like to thank the management team, who have been supportive and helped guide me through the whole process and the activities manager who was a great friend to my Mother. They all came to say goodbye when she left and gave my Mother a leaving present. Highly recommend!

We had a really bad experience with Kings court care home in Holt.. Our dad spent a month here (before we could find a better place!) in nursing care after a spell in hospital. The staff seemed completely unprepared for his arrival and we had to spend a lot of time there trying to ensure he was safe
and well cared for. One of the biggest problems was there being no staff around to answer the bells if residents needed help. After a particularly bad day trying to find people to care for him I made a complaint directly to the manager who assured me things would be better. Exactly the same thing happened the very next day with me spending nearly half an hour looking for help- even going to different floors! We felt he was basically unsafe and care was not dignified or kind enough. I think the problem was largely how the place is managed and their clear priority of profit over quality care. I strongly advise families to avoid it.
Reply from Claire Brooks, Registered Manager at King's Court Nursing HomeI am sorry to hear that you remain unhappy. We have had several conversations and have tried to respond to the concerns raised, and I am sorry that these have not provided the reassurance you were seeking. We take all feedback seriously and remain committed to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

I just wanted to share my heartfelt thanks and appreciation of Jayne, Jackie, Dawn and the wider staff at Park Lane Care home. Last week my mum (resident Joan) and dad (David) celebrated their 60th Weddiing Anniversary. Park Lane put on a wonderful and carefully prepared and considered event for our
family...including inviting the Town Mayor, lovely food and drinks, and setting up the home's special bar room so we could celebrate together as an immediate family. My mum and dad were made to feel so special and valued and the afternoon was just perfect - with so many smiles and laughs - and my mum happy and on great form. The ongoing care and dedication of the team for this event, and for my mum over the past few years, has made such a positive difference to me (especially living away from Congleton) and our wider family. Thank you so much.
Reply from Jayne O'Sullivan, Home Manager at Park Lane Care HomeDear David and family
It was our pleasure to host such a milestone anniversary, glad everyone enjoyed the afternoon. Its always a Joy to care for your mum and the rest of the family. Kind Regards Jayne

My Mum suffered from a fall, which led to a short spell in hospital. This resulted in my Mum needing time to regain strength and confidence. It becomes a stressful time for all the family.
After reviewing several options, we organised a respite stay at Eliza Palmer Nursing Home.
Eliza Palmer played
a massive part in Mum's recovery. Their support and facilities are first class. We will be forever grateful.
We also fell in love with the surrounding Whiteley Village and the facilities this has to offer.
Reply from Rimi Sidhu, Eliza Palmer Care Home Manager at Eliza Palmer Nursing HomeDear Glen,
It has been an absolute pleasure looking after your Mum and so happy she gained her confidence back to go home. Thank you so much for your lovely words which I will cascade to the team.

I arranged a weeks respite for my husband i was anxious about leaving him as it was the first time he's been out of my care The staff and residents made both him and myself feel very welcome. His room was lovely with a view On to the courtyard gardens. I stayed for lunch the food was tasty and there
was plenty of it. he had a bit of a wobble when it came time to leave and the staff were very reassuring and I was happy to leave him in their care. I was updated on how he had settled in and on the couple of occasions when he got confused they called me and we had a chat. He seems to have enjoyed himself and made himself known to everyone. Overall it was a positive experience for both of us and I will certainly send him there for more respite weeks. I would fully recommend brackley care home there's plenty of daily activities and many community afternoons and the residents all seem settled. Visitors were welcomed and theres coffee and cakes always available. Thank you

When researching care homes, the staff at Colne House were the only ones to ask what my mother in law liked/disliked and what we would like rather than only what they could offer. This ethos feeds through to all of the staff providing care, it's emphatically personal rather than corporate.
The difference
it has made to my mother in law is incredible and we could not have wished for better care. From someone who was reticent about moving to the home, the transformation has been uplifting. This benefits not only her but us as well knowing she is in such good hands.
As well as an excellent, characterful house with superb grounds, all of the staff are welcoming, helpful and professional.
Long may it continue!
Reply from Victoria Franklin, Home Manager at Colne House Care HomeThank you for your review, being person centred is extremely important to us. Tailoring care to each individual has so many advantages and we could not do it any other way. Watching our residents thrive in doing what they love means so much to us, residents have discovered new activities and picked up on old ones. We have our wonderful activities table which has brought everyone even closer together, providing the opportunity to do what they love anytime of the day. We hope to see you again soon.

I cannot speak highly enough of everyone at Colne House Care Home. The entire team consistently goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care, kindness, and support. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are made to feel welcome by staff who are genuinely compassionate, professional, and
dedicated to the wellbeing of every resident.
The level of care and attention given is outstanding, and it is clear that the staff truly care about the people they look after. Their patience, warmth, and commitment create a wonderful atmosphere where residents feel safe, valued, and respected.
The home itself is beautifully maintained, both inside and out. The grounds are immaculate, providing a peaceful and attractive environment for residents and visitors alike. It is obvious that a great deal of pride is taken in keeping the surroundings clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff and management (even the pushy one lol)

From my initial visit to Redwalls I knew it was the Nursing Home for Dad. It had a warm ,friendly, homely feel. From the moment I walked in I knew Dad would be happy , comfortable and well looked after. His room was beautifully furnished with a large window looking over the well kept gardens.
The
staff were amazing not only with the care of Dad but were so supportive of me as I navigated through this new chapter of moving Dad into Nursing Care.
When Dad passed away the staff were just lovely so supportive, caring, gentle as I dealt with my loss.
I honestly cannot recommend Redwalls highly enough if you are looking for a Care/Nursing home for a loved one.

Outstanding Five-Star Care
As an NHS professional with high standards, I cannot recommend Eversley Lodge enough. When my aunt urgently needed end-of-life care, they came to our rescue, providing an immediate sense of welcome and calmness.
The leadership and administration were exemplary. Danielle
(Manager) took the time for a meaningful conversation about their specialist care, while Jess (Reception) guided us compassionately through the hospital transfer.
The building is outstanding, but the thoughtful touches truly blew us away. They light a candle as a sign of respect for those passing and we were able to stay at the home and by our aunt's side throughout.
Care planning was seamless, involving the local GP and ensuring our aunt's safety and comfort. Every shift of the fab nursing staff were deeply caring and supported both my aunt and our family. Though she was only there for a few days, she was genuinely at peace. Eversley Lodge is the best nursing home you could ever hope to find
Reply from Danielle Bullent, Home Manager at Eversley Lodge Nursing HomeThis is wonderful review, thank you so much. We are proud of the hard work and dedication the team shows on a daily basis. We are really pleased we were able to facilitate admission in place where person cenetred care is at the forefront and caring for relatives is also important.
