On this basis my husband moved into his room there in August. I have nothing but praise for the new home manager and her caring kind staff. My husband has settled well. He and I have particularly enjoyed the wonderful afternoon tea and the cheese and wine evening with live music. Just wonderful to enjoy a social occasion together. With the lightness of touch and generosity of spirit of all the staff this home offers everything needful for focussed care in a warm and peaceful environment. I would recommend this home without any hesitation.

I am very happy for my brother to cared for with the dignity and respect he deserves. Overall I am very happy with the care he receives. The home is kept very clean and have no issues at all. It's come along way since he was first admitted to the home 14 years ago.

A good standard of care is given everyday with friendly and helpful staff with lots of activities for residents to join in with or stay in comfort in own clean rooms .Always helpful staff around when visiting which is a comfort for relatives

After moving from another care home due to closing down Mum and Dad were a little uncertain at first. But the staff were very good, and soon made them feel at home. The care they were given was very professional and all their needs were met. Sadly they passed away within 16 days of each other and the staff and carers made their final days comfortable and dignified and for that we thank them very much.

There seems to be a lack of organisation in certain aspects.

Dad has a new lease of like and thoroughly enjoying himself. I know he is safe now and that has given me peace of mind.

A Truly Wonderful Care Home - Thank You, Yaxley House!

A very dear family friend is a resident at Yaxley House, and I felt compelled to share just how truly wonderful this care home is.

Set in an idyllic location on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, Yaxley House is a warm, welcoming and very special place.

The entire team is absolutely brilliant - from the Support Workers and Catering Team to Activities, Domestic and Maintenance. Everyone is always cheerful, friendly and happy to help, no matter what you ask of them. Nothing ever seems too much trouble.

The home has also recently welcomed a lovely new Manager, whose door is always open and who is always happy to listen.

It is so reassuring to know that our family friend is surrounded by such kind and caring people.

My husband David arrived by hospital ambulance at Woodlands Lodge at 7.30pm in the evening. A number of staff were waiting at the door to assist transferring David from the ambulance to the 1st floor bedroom that had been made ready for him. Since then all the staff at all levels have been helpful, cheerful & willing in the care of my husband. We are so grateful for the way he has been cared for and couldn't wish for more. Many thanks to all concerned.

my mum came here after a failed hip operation & decided to stay. A great care home, smoothly run, where residents can be themselves, have their own things around them, and can choose to do their own thing or join in with the many varied activities & outings. New management seems very organized & efficient. Very comfortable, clean, well designed range of rooms & excellent outdoor spaces, including a few rooms opening out onto more private little patio areas. Plenty of friendly staff who engage with residents in an efficient & caring way. Any questions or concerns I can ask on-site staff. Homemade cakes offered each afternoon & even flowers brought from home for residents to enjoy in their rooms if they wish.

My aunties experience was so positive that she cannot wait to go back again! She felt welcomed and enjoyed her respite stay. The meals and entertainment, along with staff interactions, made her fit in very well. It was like going to an all-inclusive holiday she said.

Visited my aunt twice and both times the staff were so welcoming and helpful. I can tell my aunt is happy here and has a lovely rapport with the staff who are attentively looking after her. Her room is immaculate and spacious. The communal areas are beautifully decorated and clean. It's a pleasure to visit here and I don't feel bad leaving her as I know how well looked after she is.

As someone whose relative lives there, a family could ask for nothing more. I would not hesitate to recommend the amazing team at Weymouth Manor.

I came for a respite and I really like it. If I need respite again I would come back.

Very welcoming staff for the Open Day yesterday and the refurbishment carried out downstairs is a great improvement. However this is window dressing and I will be more impressed if the home can maintain a high staff to resident ratio. My husband has lived here for 3 years now with advancing dementia and he has always been very well cared for. I have never had any complaints about the home.

The residents seemed happy and content.

My husband was made to feel welcome and cared for from the moment he entered Eversley Lodge. When our two sons visited my husband they were left feeling just as welcome and part of the Eversley Family.

What a beautiful Nursing home, beautiful staff beautiful residents, always entertaining by parties + BBQ, raffles. Throughly enjoy visiting, this place is amazing well done to all the staff for your hard work, you are amazing, keep it up + thank you xxx
