Overall the service is very good. The activities. staff are excellent. The kitchen staff are excellent and provide lovely tasty food. The cleaners also do an amazing job. Most of the carers are also excellent but there are a few who are maybe be in the wrong job.

My husbands care is generally very good, My only grumble would be that he often has no underwear. Today he has only one pair of pants in his room, having supplied several dozen pairs, I think this is not a good situation!

My mother resides in Cedar Lodge Care Home. She has settled in very well since moving in. She is always looking clean and tidy and care given to her appearance. Mum now has a good quality of life. She enjoys the interaction with staff. Thank you to the manager and his hard working teams within the home.

Firstly, the accommodation is very good. My husband receives super care at La Fontana. The staff are so friendly and helpful towards him, and towards me when I visit three times a week, so i regularly see what is going on.
He receives only minor medical treatment as needed and weekly visits from the
surgery ensure that any concerns are addressed.
There is a range of activities, even though he rarely takes part. and he is encouraged to participate.

I travel from Wales to see my nan regularly and I can't fault the care she receives. She is always clean and tidy and never has a bad word to say about her 'home'. The staff are extremely welcoming and will always go the extra mile for the visitors and the residents.

Staff all very nice and genuinely seem to care about the residents. Care home is a bit dated but clean and homely feel to it. Food always looks nice. I am always offered a drink when I visit. I don't think the staff are able to give my mum the care she needs but this is down to mum's mental health and
lack of support from wider authorities.

My Father moved to Casa di Lusso in July 2023 and sadly passed in February 2025, but his time at the home exceeded my expectations. Dad had complex dementia and medical needs but nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. They were always quick to reassure me and keep me in the loop with regard
to any issues that arose, and helped complete necessary forms and documents. Dad was encouraged to join in activities, many of which he would never have considered when younger, and one lovely memory I have, is of him flower arranging, something that was always my Mother's domain.
All the staff are amazing, and truly care. To be greeted by name as you arrive, for them to tell you that "Dad was very chatty this morning when they walked through the unit" or "He's a bit grumpy today" really lifted a burden off my shoulders.
My Dad had the best care possible, and now he's gone I will miss the smiles and caring staff that made our dementia journey bearable.

The limes unit is a wonderful place to be. The staff are caring and considerate. I am lucky to be able to better my life by staying at the Limes. The staff are friendly and its a comfortable atmosphere to be in. The food is excellent and for the first time in my life I have a quality of life which I
didn't have before I moved to the limes. The manager is excellent at her job and has a lot of responsibility.

I feel very fortunate that my daughter is in the Limes. The Limes staff and especially the manager have helped and supported my daughter and she is now feeling better than she has for the past 25 years! What they've managed to do is turn her life around with patience and a structured environment. The

My uncle came to live at Cedar Lodge Care Home in the summer of 2022 as was struggling to look after himself and was very vulnerable and at risk of coming to harm living in the outside world, and naturally family would always be worrying about him. All the family are happy with the care he gets and
know that he is safe. He is also the happiest we have seen him.

My mother-in-law has been at La Fontana since 2019. The staff take very good care of her and have a very good understanding of dementia and behaviours associated with it.
The staff are friendly with mum and visitors. They contact us if anything has changed or need permission for vaccines, etc

We are welcome at Cedar Lodge anytime of the day. The staff and care providers are friendly and courteous. Our mum is receiving excellent care and is in a happy and loving environment. We feel confident that mum is receiving the best care possible. We are kept up to date with any issues, the staff are
like family to us aswell. We like to be involved with mum's care and this is never an issue. Great team.
