I have been in the short-stay unit of the William and Patricia Venton Centre. I was sent here by the crisis team, after suffering a setback in my recovery from open heart surgery. From the start, the staff were warm and caring and always took time to make sure you are OK. I lost my mother just before
coming here so I had a lot on my mind but they were here for me and took the time to talk to me when I needed to. The food is fantastic and always an alternative if you need it, nothing is too much trouble. I have to say from the cleaning staff to the caring staff, you are treated like family. I have to say a big thank you to all at the Venton Center for giving me the time and care to recover, you are all life savers not just to me but to my family who live away. You are all stars.
