Blossomfield Rose

from Jim T (Son of Resident) published on 3 November 2025

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum was admitted to Blossomfield Rose after getting to a point where living at home, even with care support, became impossible. Her time at BR was all too short, but the care and compassion that she received during her short time there was incredible. The home itself is beautiful and to a very high
standard, but it is the personal care and attention that are the standouts. Dad spent a little time with the home also, earlier in the year, before he passed away - so Blossomfield Rose has been a really important part of a difficult time for the family. We have to call out specifically the care and attention we received from the manager of mum's floor - Sally - but every single member of staff were exceptional. We are very grateful and highly recommend Blossomfield Rose to anyone making these decisions at what can be a very difficult time.

From our first visit we have been so very impressed with every aspect of Priestley Rose. First and most importantly, every member of staff we have met has been superb. They clearly care about the welfare of the residents and their families. We have gained enormous confidence knowing our Dad is in excellent
hands. All the support necessary is on hand immediately, the rooms are spacious and warm. We have peace of mind knowing our Dad is in the care of such true professionals who have empathy and kindness.

Wulfrun Rose Nursing Home

Wulfrun Rose Nursing Home is simply a very pleasant place to be a resident. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are welcoming, understanding of more complex requirements, highly skilled and generally lovely people to be around. You are made to feel like you are the center of their day.
The food is varied enough and to put it bluntly delicious. I now describe this place as my home despite only arriving a few weeks ago. You can receive visitors all through the day and I also have deliveries here from Amazon for little treats for myself. I would highly highly recommend this home to almost anyone looking to know that their close family are comfortable and happy. Obviously we would all love to be with our immediate families but given that in some cases this simply isn't practical or even safe then Wulfrun Rose offers a very close second place. I was very hesitant when we discussed this option for my continuing care but now I literally feel happier and safer than being at home.

As my mother is in the last stage of dementia, she could not respond to her experience. But from my visits to her, she seemed happy and relaxed. I particularly liked that she was not left in her room and was taken to the lounge with the other residents. My only problem was that information concerning
my mum was not passed on to all staff. Also, I left a message for the night staff concerning her pyjamas, which mostly seemed to have been ignored.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care that my mother received during her stay at Blythe Rose. The dedication, professionalism & genuine compassion of all staff made a significant difference in her quality of life.
From the moment she arrived it was evident that the
team were committed to understanding her unique needs and ensuring her comfort. They treated her with dignity and respect, established meaningful connection that fostered a sense of belonging. The individualised approach to her care, combined with warm and nurturing environment allowed her to feel safe and valued.
Even during the most challenging moments, the staff maintained unwavering commitment to excellence, providing not just physical care but emotional support too. My mom was in priestly Rose for 21/2 years
They were very good with her , we as a family made friends with the staff there , they were always friendly helpful and very caring. My mom was very happy there. My mom couldn't speak she lost that ability and mobility when she had a stroke but because she
