My mother has been in Cloverleaf now for 2 years. She is very happy and has made several friends. The staff are wonderful. They are very kind and helpful. When we visit every 3 weeks or so, we are greeted by our first names and made to feel very welcome. Living so far away, 100 miles, I love the social
media page. It keeps me up to date with what my mother is doing. Thank you. All the staff - reception, caring, nursing, cleaning, catering, entertainments etc should be complimented on providing a first rate service.

During the time my wife has been at Cloverleaf she has been well looked after. They respond to her and carol has become more settled in day to day living. There has been a problem with one of the residents being aggressive to myself and Carol. This has been dealt with and things have improved. The entertainment,

York Manor Care Home

from Barbara B (Wife of Resident) published on 15 October 2025
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My husband went in for respite for 2 weeks, and then became resident. I knew that staying at home was not really an option, but was reticent in letting go. In the early hours of one morning he had partly dressed. He fell down the last 5 stairs. I called an ambulance. My decision was made, my man now
needed more care than ever I could give him. 24/7 was too much despite all the help I had. I was distraught.
We had spoken about what to do and where to go when this Care Home was recommended by a professional,
I now don't understand what I was worrying about. The staff are all brilliant. They pay attention to everyone. My man didn't settle immediately and they checked on him, coaxed him, introduced him to other residents, fed him, I was happy to entrust him to their care. They even watch out for me and my bad moments and talk me through them. I wasn't expecting that, or the total professionalism, cleanliness, constant attention to everyone, I'm amazed, I don't know how they do it!

Bingley Park is an outstanding care home that I can highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect home from home for a loved one. It is a beautiful purpose built residence surrounded by a garden and trees and the decor is superb. The staff are the kindest, most caring and hardworking people you
could wish for, they make the whole ethos happy and very friendly to all. My mother is extremely happy there, where she is looked after with love and attention to her needs. My mother's room is spacious and beautifully designed. This room is private which is so important to her. This is an excellent example how everything is considered in a respectful way to make the resident feel safe and have a sense of privacy, too. I thank each and every one for their support and care.

I visited my husband early evening (unusual for me). The staff were just about to change his trousers as he had spilt his tea - the meal. I felt so pleased to think that even this late in the day they still wanted to make my husband look neat & tidy. Many thanks.

Visited the home for the back to school event. Was made very welcome by the staff team. Really fun atmosphere in the home and enjoyed reminiscing with residents about school days. The food was excellent - really impressive and tasty spread.

Abbey Wood Lodge

My mother's stay at this facility was appalling. Promised dementia care was replaced by neglect and disregard. She wasn't washed, wore unchanged clothes/underwear for days despite clean ones being available and her hearing aid was ignored-isolating her further. She was left alone in her room, excluded
from activities, and a trip hazard I reported was ignored. Her PRN medication was mishandled: they failed to administer it appropriately, and no PRN protocol was attached to her MAR chart. Conditions for use, frequency, and outcome monitoring were undocumented-a clear breach of safe practice. I witnessed a care assistant shouting aggressively at a vulnerable wheelchair-bound resident; when I intervened, she turned her aggression on me. I removed my mother early out of fear for her safety and wellbeing. This was not care-it was systemic failure. I've filed complaints and urge others to reconsider this facility.

Our mum recently stayed here for respite. The care she received from everyone was fantastic. The facilities are the best we have seen locally and out family were made to feel very welcome on every visit.
I would recommend anyone needing care to atleast visit here and check it out before deciding where
to use as once you look around you will be impressed by what you see.
Thank you again to everyone, you made our mums time here very memorable during what was a tough time for our family.
