As a visitor to the new home, I found it a very pleasant and cosy place. More like a hotel than a care home. Lovely spacious rooms and an ensuite to match. Food very good. As we had xmas lunch there.
Enjoy visiting residents as a cosy and warm in home, very spacious lounges and nice and light. Well
planned and very clean place.

I visit my relative 3-4 times a week and during the month try to attend some of the arranged activities. It is lovely to see the residents taking part, chatting, laughing and enjoying themselves. The Activities Team are thoughtful and have a very positive, happy outlook- which is contagious. It's impossible
to come away from an event not feeling uplifted. I am sorry I missed the visit by the new therapy dog but have seen the pictures and heard from mum how well behaved and friendly she was. The Valentines afternoon tea was a triumph-food and service excellent. The staff at Cloverleaf are always helpful and work very hard to make sure all the residents are well cared for and feel loved. The new flooring has made a massive difference to the cleanliness of the communal areas, especially on the middle floor

AVOID THIS CARE HOME!
Let my husband down tremendously.
- lost majority of his clothes and bellongings.
- staff aren't trained for behaviours/illnesses.
- staff don't care would rather sit on there phones.
- management staff are terrible, lie constantly.
- missed very important appointment
about heart due to management staff 'forgetting'
- meals aren't enough to feed a child net alone a grown man.
- no stimulation whatsoever. Get made to sit in the lounge/diner all day, nothing to do.
- didn't do what they was being paid to do.
- certain professionals have seen through the cracks and reported several incidents.
- when things get tough management will do everything to remove them asap and a considerable amount of residents end up in a mental hospital.
- neglect (5 days of seeing him with a severe side affect to medication, they still was using it, didn't get help, family did, he was dehydrated and couldn't eat)
These are just a few issues the list is endless.

We have had an excellent experience from initial enquiries to placing mum in York Manor Care Home. Joana was extremely helpful from the start outlining costs, care facilities, and a first tour of the home. I was anxious about mum's needs as she has dementia but needn't have worried, she settled very
well and is extremely happy. Care for her is excellent.

We cannot recommend Humberston House high enough. Mu mim came in for respite care for 1 month after feeling very vulnerable and poorly from the winter virus - and the home have really looked after her and helped her get back on her feet. She has loved the care, the food, the fun, and the activities.
It's been first class! A lovely place.

Can I thank all the staff at Beeston Rise Care Home. We (family) are astounded by how calm, relaxed, indeed happy she is after 24 hours in there. Mum (7 years' ago diagnosed with Alzheimer's) went in there agitated and confused, having previously refused to even talk of going into a care home. We felt
terrible moving her into a care home, but this has dissipated given how she has settled in. Nothing else to say but 'astounding Care'. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

Lindley Park Care Home

Lindley Park is a welcoming and comfortable care home with good facilities. The staff tried hard to make me comfortable and always had a smile on their faces. At times they appeared somewhat overwhelmed with the work and I didn't always feel that they had time to help with my daily routine, particularly
first thing in the morning.

The food was very variable and at times poor with a lack of variety from day to day. The portions were over facing and there was little contrast between lunchtime and evening which were very close together.

The activity programme had some good activities but not as many as expected and sometimes reminders were not given meaning that people missed out.

The home is very new and it seemed that it was still in a development stage. I feel sure that with good leadership moving forward this would improve the criticisms I have.

My father in law entered the home for respite 4 weeks ago but has now gone onto a permanent contract . Unfortunately he like many others has Alzheimer's Dementia. He was no longer safe living at home on his own so after looking at several care homes near us we picked Meadows Park . We were very impressed
with the all the staff who are obviously very friendly & caring & have been very helpful to our family at this difficult time . It is very clean & the food is all lovely our dad enjoys it all .He is very settled & has enjoyed the trip out to the garden centre & then setting the seeds etc that they bought at the garden club . We would highly recommend Meadows Park to anyone looking for a care home for their loved one .
Reply from Jenny Bellwood, Marketing Director at Meadows Park Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review.

We understand how difficult the decision can be when a loved one can no longer safely live at home, so we're very grateful that you chose Meadows Park to support your father-in-law. It's wonderful to hear that he has settled in well and is enjoying life here, especially activities like the trip to the garden centre and taking part in the garden club.

Our team works very hard to provide a warm, supportive and homely environment, so your kind comments about the staff, cleanliness and food will mean a great deal to everyone.

Thank you again for your recommendation and for trusting us with your father-in-law's care. We're always here to support both him and your family.

I am very impressed by everything about Meadows Park Care Home. My cousin Betty has been here for 16 months now and we try to visit weekly. The standard of care is outstanding. Everything is 100% plus. I am a retired Fire Fighter and some of the so called care homes you would not believe. If Betty had
not been here for the last year plus I doubt she would be still with us.
Reply from Jenny Bellwood, Marketing Director at Meadows Park Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and for your incredibly kind words about Meadows Park Care Home.

It means a great deal to our whole team to hear how highly you think of the care provided to your cousin. Your comment about the difference the home has made over the past 16 months is truly touching and will mean a lot to the whole team.

Thank you again for your wonderful feedback and for placing your trust in us to care for your family member.
