The facilities, food, cleanliness, safety/security & activities are superb.

For anyone who is contemplating looking for a care home for their family member, I cannot recommend Willow Gardens highly enough. The Manager and caring staff have become an extended part of my family. My Mum settled in from Day one. The care team are exceptional in treating all residents with dignity. Resident activities, food, cleaning are excellent.

Mum has been at Mayflower for over two years. Aside from the daily care and attention, this year the team at Mayflower have gone out of their way to make Mum's birthday special. I have really come to regard Mayflower as part of the family. Thank you.

My wife has been a resident for 3 years and I'm very happy with all aspects of her care at Willow Gardens. I would recommend this Care Home to anyone in need for permanent residency. Also parking facilities are easy and free of charge

My Mum had been a resident now since April 2025. She went in after a hip operation, she hadn't had any physio at the hospital so was pretty immobile and was a shell of the Mum we knew. Within a few months she blossomed as she was well cared for, helped back on her feet (literally) and had people who cared for her around her all the time. I am so pleased we found this home which is situated in fabulous gardens and within a retirement village. Mum goes out in the minibus, has outings to the garden centres and pubs, which she loves, and have a few lovely singers who visit regularly which makes everyone smile and sing along! My friends are forever showing me the social media posts of her having such a good time! Her room has a lovely view of the old building and beautiful pine trees, it is kept clean and it is lovely and bright. Also, having a weekly GP visit.

Mum has been at Dawson Lodge now for 5 months. She was made to feel very welcome from day 1 and very quickly settled in to her new life. When ever I visit I always receive a warm welcome from the staff who work hard to provide great care, food and activities. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

We can visit Mum anytime and are always made to feel welcome. Her room is always clean with fresh water in the fridge

My mum had been in Dawson lodge since April this year, she has always been shown so much kindness & love from all the staff. Just wanted to highlight the caring staff and team led by the management team. The facilities represent a 5 star hotel and the cleanliness is of the highest standard. I know Philip is very happy at the Mayflower and this is reflected in his healthy appearance. Well done to you all.

Mayflower Court has been a wonderful home for my mother-in-law. From the very beginning, we have felt reassured by the warm, kind, and professional care she receives every day. The staff are genuinely compassionate, attentive, and respectful, and they always take the time to make her feel comfortable, safe, and valued. The home has a welcoming atmosphere, and it is clear that residents are treated with dignity and patience.

We are especially grateful for the way the team communicates with the family and keeps us informed. It gives us great peace of mind knowing that she is in such caring hands. Very smooth transition from hospital to care home. Manager and staff were all very informative and helpful. Access and visiting is very good with excelent facilities, with tea and selection of coffee drinks readily available . All information is well displayed in all area's including food menu, monthly activities and numerous other signs. All in all, cant fault anything so far.

Staff are wonderful. Nothing too much trouble. Taken burden of dads care off us. Be lost without them. Manager and her assistant are very understanding of our situation as dad wants to go home but can't.

We were in the process of getting my dad out of hospital had looked at numerous care homes until someone referred us to Mayflower Court a anchor group home! We were very impressed with everything about it! The manager and assistant manager were very kind & talked us through the process & made it an easy transition from hospital to home. My dad is settling in nicely & well looked after, very caring staff.. Have no worries about his welfare...
