Everyone takes time to make sure Mum is ok and has everything she needs.

Making the decision for someone you love to leave the home they have known for so many years and move into a care home is one of the hardest decisions a family can make. From the moment my Aunt arrived at Willow Gardens, every single member of staff welcomed her with kindness, patience and genuine care. Every time I visit I see another positive change. Although her memory is becoming more forgetful, the improvement of her health/nutrition has been nothing short of amazing. Seeing her smiling, comfortable and cared for means more than words can ever say. To every single member of staff at Willow Gardens. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are truly angels in disguise. Your kindness, dedication and love has made such a difference, not only my aunt but to our family. We will always be grateful for everything you do.

Not only is Orchard Gardens a lovely place for the residents, but it's also a real pleasure for us relatives to visit. Nothing is too much trouble; towards the end of mum's life I always asked for assistance in getting her into her wheelchair to take her downstairs to the cafe or bar areas for a coffee. (Both of which are superb). Help to do this was immediate and always with a smile and little chat. And it usually involved the use of a machine for aided help.They became like family to not just mum, but us too. I shall miss our visits and chats - thank you, all of you xx

Willow Gardens is a remarkable place. It is where you can entirely trust that your loved ones are treated with dignity, respect and kindness. My father has been a resident for over two years and during this time I have experienced the staff to be highly professional, compassionate and good-humoured. My father tells me he feels safe and happy. I cannot ask for anything more.

My father was resident until August 2026, he was very happy at Orchard Gardens having moved there from another carehome where he wasn't happy. With the excellent care from all the staff he was happy right from day one. All the staff are so friendly and understanding the activities staff were great and Dad enjoyed trips out and activities at the home. The rooms, communal areas and the grounds around the retirement village are lovely and well kept.

The care home manager organised for one of the carers to accompany my grandad, so that he could attend my wedding. The carer was incredible - kind, generous with his time, supportive of grandad, polite, and incredibly helpful. We hugely appreciated the care home management and staff facilitating this, enabling grandad to take part in the day, spend time with our family, and be part of some memories that we'll never forget. Thank you so much!

The facilities, food, cleanliness, safety/security & activities are superb.

For anyone who is contemplating looking for a care home for their family member, I cannot recommend Willow Gardens highly enough. The Manager and caring staff have become an extended part of my family. My Mum settled in from Day one. The care team are exceptional in treating all residents with dignity. Resident activities, food, cleaning are excellent.

Mum has been at Mayflower for over two years. Aside from the daily care and attention, this year the team at Mayflower have gone out of their way to make Mum's birthday special. I have really come to regard Mayflower as part of the family. Thank you.

My wife has been a resident for 3 years and I'm very happy with all aspects of her care at Willow Gardens. I would recommend this Care Home to anyone in need for permanent residency. Also parking facilities are easy and free of charge

My Mum had been a resident now since April 2025. She went in after a hip operation, she hadn't had any physio at the hospital so was pretty immobile and was a shell of the Mum we knew. Within a few months she blossomed as she was well cared for, helped back on her feet (literally) and had people who cared for her around her all the time. I am so pleased we found this home which is situated in fabulous gardens and within a retirement village. Mum goes out in the minibus, has outings to the garden centres and pubs, which she loves, and have a few lovely singers who visit regularly which makes everyone smile and sing along! My friends are forever showing me the social media posts of her having such a good time! Her room has a lovely view of the old building and beautiful pine trees, it is kept clean and it is lovely and bright. Also, having a weekly GP visit.

Mum has been at Dawson Lodge now for 5 months. She was made to feel very welcome from day 1 and very quickly settled in to her new life. When ever I visit I always receive a warm welcome from the staff who work hard to provide great care, food and activities. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

We can visit Mum anytime and are always made to feel welcome. Her room is always clean with fresh water in the fridge

My mum had been in Dawson lodge since April this year, she has always been shown so much kindness & love from all the staff. My mother, Susan S, enjoyed 25 consecutive days "respite care" in the Willow Gardens care home following a fall at home & a further fall in hospital. Her care was excellent throughout & she recovered back to her, "normal self" for which we are both most thankful
