All of the staff have been excellent in our experience, from the team on reception, catering, nursing and care teams to the activities team and cleaners. They all seem to take pride in caring for their residents well and to the best of their abilities.

Staff do their best during the day. Could do with more staff at nighttime. Sometimes buzzer not answered for a while.

I am happy enough with my mother's care. I understand the difficulties of caring for clients with varying degrees of problems. All in all everything is acceptable.

The room is clean and tidy, the food is rich and delicious, the staff is nice and friendly. High-quality monitoring of the disease, deal emergencies on time, and protecting the lives of residents

Early days, Dad has dementia and settling in will take time, we will get there, staff are understanding and helpful.

I spent 3 weeks in respite care. (1) Body map photos were taken on arrival A week later I needed a medical prescription as a skin problem developed I left 2 weeks later with serious skin damage in groin and anal areas, none of which was officially reported to my partner, nor was there any advice on on-going treatment. (2) I was assured, in my assessment, that my needs would be met (I have Parkinson's Disease and have to be moved by hoist. The staff lacked training in this. My foot was hurt (also photo'ed) in one of their efforts to move me. Subsequently I spent most of my time there bed-bound. English was their 2nd language for several staff. This was a problem. (3) On paper, the facilities look good - film room, garden etc. but they were not made available to me

We chose Lancing Beach because of the sea views and stunning building but sadly we lost trust and had to remove Mum to a safer more established care setting on 07//06/26. I wish Lancing Beach all the best with their development.

Visited the care home today after the garden party, when staff had taken the time and effort not only to get residents outdoors in the sun but create a party atmosphere. My mother was still wearing her glamorous hat at dinner when I arrived. It would have been easier to leave residents upstairs in their rooms but the staff really made a great effort to improve the health and mental wellbeing of those in their care. Thank you

Mum likes interacting with the staff and finds them to be hard working and engaged with their duties.

Staff have kept me up to date when doctor called etc..

Mum has settled so well thanks to the care and dedication of all the wonderful staff. We are very grateful

I came from Canada to visit my sister & she was admitted while I was here. She has been treated with dignity & respect by every member of staff. The family have had every question answered by friendly informative staff. They have made this very difficult time easier with their kindness. I will return to Canada knowing my sister is in a wonderful care home. My sister is lucky to have become a part of the Cochrane family at this difficult time in her life. God Bless you all.

My dad was admitted to Brampton Lodge in November 2025, and after his initial stay on the dementia ward downstairs - where he received wonderful care - he was moved upstairs for end of life care. From the moment we viewed his room (upon acceptance from hospital) and spoke to some of the staff-we were so relieved. Dad received so much love and support from many staff whilst in Brampton Lodge and we as a family are eternally grateful. There will always be small issues in caring for dementia and illnesses of dads kind, however it is the way they are dealt with that matters. Brampton Lodge (Louis and Emma -Managers) have an open door policy, nothing is hidden, nothing is ignored and nothing is not dealt with in the kindest way. I truly believe that to get respect you have to give respect and this is what all the staff members provide. My mum found it so hard watching dad deteriorate but would often receive a hug off one of the staff and a listening ear. That is Brampton Lodges way!

From application to admission the collegues at Alexandra Mill have been superb, understanding, helpful and attentive along with great communication. They worked and continue to work tirelessly to ensure my father in law made the transition as comfortably as they could.

This was my first visit to see my sister at Lancing Beach Care home. Apart from me there were other members of the family with me. From the initial welcome at Reception to meeting many of the staff members we were very impressed with the kindness shown to us and my sister. We were able to have some space to ourselves and were provided with refreshments. The quality of the food/ drink was lovely. Staff went above and beyond to make our visit a very enjoyable one.

Sandstone Brook is an amazing place. Nothing is too much trouble with exceptional care, endless patience and warmth it gave me peace of mind that my mum was in capable hands. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and seem so happy in their work which says a lot about the care home. I cannot recommend the place enough.

Since my dad moved into this care home, we have been extremely impressed with the level of care, kindness, and professionalism shown by all the staff. Moving into care can be a big adjustment, but the team made the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible for both Dad and our family.

The staff are always friendly, patient, and genuinely caring, taking the time to get to know residents as individuals. Dad has settled in well, enjoys the activities on offer, and is treated with dignity and respect every day.

The home is clean, welcoming, and well maintained, creating a warm and homely atmosphere.

I would like to express on behalf of my family to the whole of the care team, our appreciation, thanks, and support you all provide my father, Andy, throughout the care process. There are, of course, no words which can express our thanks for the care, empathy and kindness you all show. However, I wanted to put in writing our formal appreciation for all the hard work you all put into assisting my father with his dementia and physical challenges. Thank you Jacqui and your amazing team for making Mum so welcome at Lancing Beach. You've given a fantastic level of care and support to us all and Mum is very happy in her new home. I always feel welcome when I visit and the home is spotlessly clean, bright and has a cheerful and positive atmosphere. Mum enjoys the variety of activities and entertainment, but especially the musical ones. She hasn't once asked to go home!
