I would like to express on behalf of my family to the whole of the care team, our appreciation, thanks, and support you all provide my father, Andy, throughout the care process. There are, of course, no words which can express our thanks for the care, empathy and kindness you all show. However, I wanted
to put in writing our formal appreciation for all the hard work you all put into assisting my father with his dementia and physical challenges. Please kindly spread the word across the whole team in Hailsham House. Thank you very much.

Thank you Jacqui and your amazing team for making Mum so welcome at Lancing Beach. You've given a fantastic level of care and support to us all and Mum is very happy in her new home. I always feel welcome when I visit and the home is spotlessly clean, bright and has a cheerful and positive atmosphere.
Mum enjoys the variety of activities and entertainment, but especially the musical ones. She hasn't once asked to go home!

From the initial enquiry to Lancing Beach Care home we have had nothing but outstanding communication and service. Our intention was respite but we have been so impressed with the love, care and compassion that has been shown to my mother that we are in the process of making it long stay. The environment
is gorgeous with stunning sea views from the communal areas. It is a joy to visit and see my mother alert and interacting. James ensures lots of fun and games, Danny ensures her medical needs are met with a fabulous nursing team led by Blessing. The food is lovely with a great catering team with plenty of choice but most of all there is clear evidence that the staff enjoy their jobs from Dan the maintenance man to Jackie the manager who is pro active in ensuring she knows all of the residents. As a family this was a big decision which was made easy by Ali as first port of call and guidance from Suzi the finance manager. Overall, we are extremely happy and highly recommend Lancing Beach
Reply from Jacqui Fleming, Home Manager at Lancing Beach Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review. We are truly delighted to hear how positive your experience has been with us at Lancing Beach Care Home.
Making the decision to move a loved one into care is never easy, so it means a great deal to know that our team has been able to provide reassurance, support, and exceptional care throughout your journey with us. We are especially pleased to hear that your mother has settled so well, and that you are enjoying seeing her alert, engaged, and thriving within our community.
Your kind words about our team members will be greatly appreciated. We are incredibly proud of James, Danny, Blessing and the nursing team, our catering colleagues, Dan, Ali, Suzi, and indeed every member of staff who works so hard to create a warm, caring, and supportive environment for our residents and their families.

Lancing Beach is a very special place. This is what your hopes and dreams are for your loved ones. The dementia care is individual and full of dignity and respect for the person they were and who they are now. My mother has just moved to Lancing Beach from
another care home, which we were very unhappy with.
Suzie & Jackie couldn't have made it easier , they have been brilliant, nothing was to much trouble, it was such an easy transition . We are so happy with the care she is receiving, the staff are all
lovely and the home itself is beautiful.
My mother recently celebrated a birthday, with a beautiful buffet laid on by the home , the staff couldn't of been kinder & made us all feel so welcome , it was such a lovely afternoon spent as a family with our mum.
We feel very lucky that we found Lancing Beach, and we are looking forward to spending more time
with her in such a welcoming environment.

My wife Shirley has Alzeimer's and is very confused, anxious and unsettled. The home provide morning and afternoon activities which help to distract her and keep her occupied, she has always been an active person, not one for sitting around so the activities help with that. The staff are very friendly
and helpful and always make the effort to engage with her and get a smile, and unknown to her, they monitor and record what she does, how she sleeps and how she eats so if I have a question they have the info directly. When Shirley first moved into the home she was on the basic medication from when I cared for her at home, the care home have been able, with the help of the GP and Psychiatric team, who review this weekly, to improve on that. The home is open to visitors all of the time which allows myself and family to visit at times that fit into everyday life, it is also dog friendly.

Lancing Beach is an amazing care home with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. All the team are very professional and welcoming and go the extra mile to make residents and visitors feel special and at home; it gave us peace of mind knowing that our Dad, who was terminally ill was being well looked after
having gone in for respite and then becoming a permanent resident. All the rooms are beautiful, having either a sea or garden view, perfectly situated across from Lancing beach. Unfortunately Dad passed away after 6 weeks but we feel very lucky knowing that was spent with wonderful people who cared for him like he was one of their family and for that we couldn't be more grateful

I visited mum on Sunday 26-4-2026. Teresa was doing a cheese tasting, and it was a fabulous afternoon; other residents joined from Orchard.
After the cheese, music played, singing and lots of dancing from residents and staff! Such a happy home with great staff! Even Emma (cleaning) and her co-workers
joined in.
Entertainment should be on every day. I know that sometimes this isn't available re days off. It would be an idea to employ extra staff to cover.
