Bracebridge Care Group is built on Emotional Intelligence through the veins of all that they are and all that they do. They are dedicated to providing exceptional heart-centred care across their newly established care homes. The homes they build are designed to support diverse individual needs, especially people living with dementia. They emphasise inclusivity, welcoming older LGBTQI individuals, and fostering a sense of community and belonging. Each home has a team of dedicated professionals carefully selected for their emotional intelligence and commitment to heart-centred care.

The care environments are thoughtfully crafted to feel like 'home from home', promoting independence and emotional well-being. Including dogs (and ducks in one home!) living in the homes – which offer a true sense of home and a 4-legged friend for everyone! Team members relax when times get tough and people who exhibit heightened emotions are calmed by a dog in the home.

They created a whole system on tech with a focus on giving back time to the team so they can spend more time with the people they support. They employ innovative technologies such as Nourish care planning, Camascope EMAR, and PainChek to ensure high-quality, kind and heart-centred care to everyone including the team. The homes are also equipped with acoustic monitoring systems to enhance people’s safety without unnecessary intrusions especially at night-time.

The team is led by a senior team who understand leadership in care. With the CEO a director on the Outstanding Society, as well as a recipient of the Chief Nurse award, they know that they will keep developing their offer. They are always open to sharing their best practice and have had other care home groups come and join the managers for days in their homes to see how they use their systems and to enable them to learn. They understand that every day offers the opportunity to feel purpose and love.

My Mom became a resident of The Oaks during August 2025.
From my first initial meeting with the team I was made to feel reasured regarding all of my worries about the transition of Mom's care.
On the day Mom arrived she was welcomed by all with open arms into her new surroundings , her huge smile
gave me the sense of her happiness that we had not seen for a long time......
Mom has been looked after by this incredible team of laundry ,catering ,carers ,nurses , activity & events , reception management who go over and above to make Mom's journey the best we could ever wish for.
My daughters and grandaughters shared a magical experince where a shopping day was created for the residents to spend role play £1 notes on items from stalls ranging from a variety of items.
After Mom's first few weeks , i recieved a beautiful picture of Mom enjoying a glass of prosecco sitting in the sunshine on the patio celebrating National Prossecco day.....
Well done The Oaks you are truly amazing.

My mother has been a resident for a number of months and requires a lot of support. The manger has been approachable and supportive, and all the staff, from reception to house keepers, carers & nurses have been helpful, caring & respectful with my mother & our family. I was always worried about my mother
being in a care home, but not at The Maples, I feel she is in a safe & caring environment. It has a really positive & proactive atmosphere.

I was very pleased that a place was found for my Aunt on discharge from hospital. I have been very happy for the care given to her up to and including her death. The staff have always been welcoming and cheerful. They have answered questions asked and found solutions to issues and problems presented.
I would recommend the 2nd floor placement to anybody who asked me re care for a loved one.

My uncle has a life ending condition of Motor Neurone Disease, We had a very stressful and upsetting experience trying to discharge my uncle to an appropriate care facility to accommodate his needs, we had to attend many meetings to get to the appropriate safe discharge plan for him. I was given many
care homes to look at and none gave me the evidence or the criteria that was required to care for my uncles needs.
It was only when I walked into Acer Lodge did I feel reassured and confident that this would be the place I would be happy for him to be cared for. All the staff were professional, respectful and could answer any of my concerns, the warm friendly atmosphere throughout my initial viewing gave me confidence I had found the right place. I was given the opportunity to speak with nurses who would care for my uncles needs and would be happy to take advice from the Motor Neurone Disease team where he was hospitalised and work together in my uncles best interests.

Beautiful, welcoming home with plenty of space for residents to move about. Excellent views over the surrounding areas. Relatives and friends made very welcome. Private areas to sit with residents both inside and outside. Drinks available for visitors which is much appreciated when travelling long distances.
The staff are friendly and caring. Residents are very well cared for and happy. The home is very different from any other I have been in and took me a while to embrace it. The activities are brilliant and the home seems to focus on fun, laughter and living in the moment.

The Oaks is a wonderful home! Modern, beautifully furnished, well kept and clean. All staff from house keepers, laundry, kitchen, carers and management, are very caring, lovely, friendly, and happy people (they rarely waiver even towards the end of long challenging shifts). They all do their very best
for the residents and often go beyond. The carers are just incredible with residents, supporting them in all their daily needs and engaging with them. On my husbands floor there is lots of chatter & exhubrance (along with quiet times) with the carers often leading impromptu singing & dancing from the dining room much to everyones delight! I find management team are also approachable very supportive and will listen and act on any concerns or requests to the very best of their abilities and are led by a wonderful and manager. The activities leaders also get a special mention for all their lots of inovative & enjoyable ideas.

Our father was in Acer Lodge for 7 weeks. He was cared for by many staff, who were all very caring, compassionate, polite, knowledgeable and considerate, right up to the time of his passing away. Nothing was every too much trouble to help him and also anything we needed they sorted. The 3 young gents
who looked after him mainly were so attentive to him and he seemed to enjoy them spending time with him. Overall, we would definately recommend Acer Lodge as a place to be looked after in your time of need.

Mum has been in the Maple since October 2024 and the care she has received has been second to none. The staff and carers have been excellent and we could not wish for a better care home for mum to be in, They are caring, thoughtful of mums needs and keep us as a family well updated.
The care team
have been amazing with caring for mum even when she is not the easiest to care for due to her unpredictability.
I would highly recommend this care home if you want reassurance that you know your family member will be cared for unconditionally the team treat the residents like one of there own family, this is the place for your loved ones.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at The Oaks. My sister has settled in well and takes part in lots of activities. Where she lived before , she spent a lot of time on her own. Making the decision to move her was a huge one but I am so happy I did. Although I don't live anywhere near,

My husband has been in The Rowans for about six weeks now. We've found it to be very friendly, from reception to the carers on the household. Its very clean and my husbands room is excellent. Entrusting the care of a loved one to someone else is a massive decision, but the moment I stepped foot into the Rowans I just knew it was going to be the right place for Mum.
Everyone treated her with dignity, respect, care and genuine affection. In her final days she was kept comfortable and pain
free.
Mum was bed bound but the staff checked in on her regularly throughout the day to make sure she was ok or just for a chat. For those residents able to use the communal areas, there are loads of great activities and there is a lovely atmosphere.
The home is spotlessly clean and the food is amazing.
Every member of the team I met was absolutely lovely and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Rowans.

Mom admitted from hospital - room lovely. No care plan discussed with family. Mom complained food was often cold and unedible. Often left uncomfortable as personal not carried out and then would need full change. Staff often turned buzzer off without answering query and would return some time later.
Very understaffed on daily basis. Staff doing their best. Mom was discharged with hematoma - resulting in re-admission to hospital.

The Blossom Suite, which is run separately to the care home, is an enablement space, we work with people to help them move on to their next destination. We are so sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience here. The plan of care for people in the suite is very different to that of someone who lives in a care home and each person is set on a pathway of care to enable them to achieve set outcomes. We are so sorry that we didn't explain how our systems worked, it would be good to speak with you to learn what we can do better. Our team can only switch off the buzzer within the room, they must 'tag' in to the device on the wall to do this. We have helped many people achieve their goal of going home following the care & physio received in the Blossom Suite. We are routinely inspected by our commissioners and staffing levels within the suite are typically very good. Please don't hesitate to make contact so that we can explore what happened during your Mother's stay with us.
