Jubilee House is a warm, caring home where all staff take the time to understand the residents and adapt to their needs. My mum feels safe, secure, and surrounded by friendship and support. The home offers a vibrant and happy environment where my mum's health and personal wellbeing has flourished within
the bounds of her healthcare needs. Communication with family is also great.

My experience dealing with Shinfield View has been exceptional, this was from day one when a member of the team met with myself and the now resident in their home. The care and conditions at Shinfield View are one hundred percent, management and care staff are always pleasant and most helpful when carrying
out their respective duties. I would commend Shinfield View to anyone seeking care.

The care that my mum has received since moving into Badminton Place has been faultless. To quote Mums own words "if they asked me I couldn't make one suggestion of anything that they could change". She was worried about having to go into a home but she loves it there and is genuinely really happy there.
It is also a lovely environment for us as her family - we are also treated exceptionally well as are all of her visitors. They really live what they promote which is "treat this as your home we are all about family".
Reply from Chip, Commercial manager at Badminton PlaceIt truly means the world to us to hear that your mum feels so happy, settled and at home here at Badminton Place. We know that moving into a care home can feel like a big and emotional step, so to hear her own words - that she couldn't suggest anything she would change - is incredibly special for the whole team. We are also so pleased that you and your family feel welcomed and cared for when you visit. Family is at the heart of everything we do, and it is lovely to know that this is being felt not only by your mum, but by those closest to her too. Your kind words will be shared with the whole team, who will be absolutely delighted. It is a privilege to care for your mum and to have your family as part of the Badminton Place community.

Badminton Place has proved a wonderful environment for my dad. The care, activities, staff, and all that it offers has provided a safe, stimulating, caring enviroment which my dad has settled into fantastically. His dementia is calmer due to the constant company and daily life in a busier, friendly
establishment where he has constant care, companionship and stimulation. I have nothing but praise.
Reply from Chip, Commercial manager at Badminton PlaceThank you so much for your lovely review and kind words about Badminton Place. It means a great deal to hear that your dad has settled in so well and that you have seen such a positive difference in his wellbeing and happiness. Providing a warm, caring and stimulating environment is incredibly important to us, and the team will be delighted to know the support, companionship and activities have made such an impact. Thank you once again for your trust and support.

Our father was a resident of the home for 18 months, he was incredibly well taken care of by the staff who are friendly and caring. The food is good and there are daily activities for the residents, along with a bistro for visiting and a nice garden area. The staff were very compassionate after our
father passed and couldn't have done more for our family. Would thoroughly recommend for a loved one needing care.
Reply from Madge Wang, General Manager at Ryefield CourtThank you so much for your kind words and recommendation. It means a great deal to us that your father felt well cared for during his time with us. Our team works hard to create a warm, supportive environment for both residents and their families, so it is wonderful to hear that the care, activities, food, and surroundings made a positive difference. We are especially grateful for your comments about the compassion shown to your family after your father's passing. Supporting families through such difficult times is incredibly important to us, and we are honoured to have been able to care for your father. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience and for trusting us with your father's care.

From the moment my father moved into Shinfield View in August 2025 during a very challenging time for his health, the care he has received has been nothing short of exceptional. As I don't live nearby, I rely heavily on the team to support his care and wellbeing.
The improvement in him over the past
few months has been remarkable. He has gone from rarely engaging to actively participating in daily life, making the most of activities and outings.
What stands out most is the team themselves - kind, compassionate, and genuinely invested in every resident. They take the time to understand the little things that matter, like Dad's love of afternoon tea and fruitcake. Recently he's enjoyed trips out, time in the allotment, and quiz nights, which has made such a difference to his quality of life.
As a family, we have complete peace of mind knowing he is safe, happy, and so well cared for. Thank you to the entire Shinfield View team-we are incredibly grateful.

Dad has been living here for some time, and our experience has been consistently positive. The staff are kind, patient, and genuinely caring, taking the time to understand him as an individual. They pay close attention to personal likes and dislikes and make a real effort to accommodate them, which
brings comfort and familiarity.
There's a wide range of entertainment and activities designed to suit different interests and abilities. Residents are encouraged to join in but never pressured, and the team always makes participation enjoyable.
The staff take health and wellbeing very seriously. When Dad has experienced health difficulties, the team respond with professionalism, calm, and clear expertise, keeping us informed and ensuring he feels safe and supported.
The team at Shinfield View goes the extra mile to make the environment feel like home, and knowing Dad is surrounded by people who genuinely care and show such respect means so much.
Reply from Nadia Koseva, General Manager at Shinfield ViewThank you for the kind review! It is our pleasure to care for your father!

Mum resided at Portobello Place for 4 and a half years. During this time she felt part of the "family" with wonderful care and loving attention from the staff. She was treated with kindness and respect, which was important for someone who still had a good degree of independence. Mum loved the events,
particularly the singers, speakers, dancers and musicians, which really lifted her spirits and she fully took part!

My mum was so lucky to have had a weeks respite care at Badminton Place. The ambience hits you immediately you enter the building. Its lovely + warm and the staff without exception are so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The meals were excellent and we were able to join mum for them
(and a free bar!) If we wished too. The facilities were great. Mum could have joined in with lots of different activities. Plus hairdressing was available together with chiropody and a nail bar. I really would recommend Badminton Place to anyone who has care needs of any description for any period of time and whose family want to ensure that they will be really well looked after. My grateful thanks to all who cared for mum during her stay. It really is like a 5 star hotel.
Reply from Chip, Commercial manager at Badminton PlaceThank you so much for your kind words. We are incredibly proud of the environment and facilities here, but most importantly it was a genuine pleasure to care for your mum. We also loved having you join us and become part of the fun and community within the home. We would be delighted to welcome you back for a visit again soon.

If you are looking for a care home or respite care for you loved one please look no further. My mother recently had 10 weeks respite care on the first floor at Leycester House and I cannot rate it highly enough. From the moment we arrived to the day she left I could not fault the care she received-
and I was there a lot to see it!
The lovely rooms and shared areas are beautiful of course, but for me it is the staff who stand out. All of them, no exceptions. The care staff, the housekeeping staff, the entertainment team, the bar staff, nothing was ever too much trouble and their kindness shone through always. All led by the manager who always had time for a chat.
When mom left to go home we were both sad and we both still miss the team over a month later. I think that says it all!!
Reply from Joshua Findlay-Oakes, General Manager at Leycester HouseThank you so much for your lovely review. As you already know, you are both always welcome at Leycester House.

This care home has proved to be a most welcoming and inclusive place. I regularly visit my friend who has made this her permanent home. The staff here are excellent, treating service users with respect and dignity and catering for their individual needs. Any problems or queries visitors may have are
dealt with promptly and reassurance given. The administrative staff and those coordinating activities are always keen to give the best possible experiences to the residents and are open to suggestions for new ideas to stimulate all within the care home environment.
Reply from Kiran Chaggar-Smith, Home Admissions at Burcot Grange Care HomeThank you very much for taking the time to share such thoughtful and positive feedback. My overally experience has been very good. I was not very happy when I first came to Burcot Grange because I had lost my husband after a long illness and none of my relatives were helping me. The staff here are all very kind and helped me through. They are all very approachable and I feel this is my
home. Nothing is too much trouble and we have fun.

I moved my Wife into Ryfield Court at the very end of February. Since she has been there she appears calmer and at ease with the other residents and joins in on the activities provided. Both my Son and I are so happy with the move. The staff are second to none and really provide the care that she needs
which gives us peace of mind, The home itself offers so many facilities and is kept immaculate. There is a very nice garden for the residents to enjoy in the better weather. We cannot fault it in any way and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

My husband went into Cumnor Hill House for a week respite care. He was quite anxious about going into care for a week but the staff at Cumnor Hill House was so welcoming and helpful that he came back home quite happy from the experience.
