I would recommend Cedar Mews to anyone looking for a care home.

My Mum went to Ryefield when her falls meant that she was no longer able to manage at home even with the help of carers. It turned out to be a great move. In her near year at Ryefield she was very much at 'home' in every sense of the word, incredibly well supported by the excellent team there who looked after her so well. With a lovely garden, great facilities such as a cinema, hair dresser and lots of activities, and with modern, well maintained rooms, it was a real alternative to Mum being at her own home. The food is great, the welcome even better. Right to the end it is difficult to fault the care and commitment of Madge, Inez, Lin and the whole Ryefield Team. Very much appreciated all round.

The Home is spot less, staff are brilliant and know every resident by name! They are all very well cared for and the food is exallent.

Excellent care, from the moment I walked in I knew this was the best place for my father. The staff couldn't do anymore, the care was above and beyond they really made me and my family very welcome. Everyone really put my father first and he loved every second he was with you all. I will miss everyone.

My mum has settled well into Cedar Mews. All the carers are really kind to my mum and she is well looked after with kindness and sympathy. There is lots of activities to entertain from music, dancing, craft and trips out in the minibus. She enjoys the food and the environment makes all our family enjoy our visits to mum. We are very happy to have chosen Cedar Mews to provide the care my mum needs at this stage of life. It was a very difficult decision for our family but I am very happy to recommend Cedar Mews.

I have no worries about Mums care at Cedar Mews. There is a happy atmosphere and some good entertainment.

My mum came to stay for a month or so following a stroke earlier this year and then a broken hips, both for her sake and my dad's. Leycester House could not have been better - the staff, the food, the activities and also the people that my mum met. They formed a little community and enjoyed eating together and encouraging each other along. I enjoyed coming to visit too as it didn't feel like a traditional care home - it was just a normal place to come and have a drink and walk around with some fun activities to take part in too. I couldn't recommend enough. The NHS physio was brilliant too.

From the moment I spoke to the head carer I knew my mum would be in safe hands. Everyone is not only genuinely caring; but they are emotionally interested in her wellbeing and health. It is a first class experience in every respect. I could not recommend them enough. Burcot Grange is an exceptional place, true pioneer and leader in their field.

I spent 6 weeks at Leycester House following an operation revising dislocation of a partial hip replacement. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. Food was excellent. My only reservation was the labelling of the laundry. Perhaps a requirement is to label clothes before admission would help. On the whole clothes that were washed and not returned, eventually turned up apart from 3 pairs of pants. My overall impression of my stay was that the staff, particularly the permanent ones were efficient, helpful + nothing was too much trouble. The building felt safe for all my physio.

Most importantly, I leave knowing that my relative is not only being cared for, but genuinely cared about. Thank you.

Nursing home is really lovely and staff could not have been friendlier or more kind and helpful. All top quality and my father superbly looked after.

Mum moved to Ryefield Court in January 2026. I could not praise highly enough the care she received. My only regret is that she did not move there sooner.

Ann has been looked after extremely well, the staff are wonderful to her. From day one Ann has been treated with dignity and nothing is too much trouble.

My 93 year old mum is here for a couple of weeks of respite care, and we have nothing but praise for the standards of care, food and most importantly the friendliness of the staff. I would certainly recommend Cedar Mews to anyone looking for care in a luxury care home.
