Love Walk is located in a beautiful part of Denmark Hill, on the edge of the Camberwell Conservation Area. They offer a warm and loving home, with a high standard of person-centred care to twenty two adults with physical disabilities.
The care team provide full care to residents twenty four hours a day. They are dedicated to caring for residents with dignity, respect and compassion and to serving residents’ social, physical, clinical and emotional needs.
Staff are loyal and hardworking, ensuring a strong continuity of care for residents and work to encourage independence and freedom of choice.
Twenty-two bedrooms are spread across two accessible floors. All bedrooms are generously sized and well appointed with en suite facilities. All bedrooms enjoy views onto Love Walk or the terraced area. Whilst rooms are presented fully furnished to a high decorative standard, carers encourage residents to personalise their bedrooms as they wish.
All meals are prepared onsite using fresh ingredients. Menus are prepared and updated on a regular basis, in full consultation with residents and their advocates. Carers are committed to ensuring that any dietary needs and preferences are met and that varied and nutritional meals are available to suit every cultural and personal choice.
Love Walk benefits from a diverse programme of activities, events and excursions, multiple communal areas, a games room, internet facilities, garden area and a private laundry for residents’ use. Love Walk offers pastoral and religious support and enjoys strong relationships with the local community.
