We found a very warm welcome at The Georgiana. The staff are attentive, the meals healthy and look appetising. The activities coordinator has been made a full-time post in the last year, meaning she can offer more entertainment to the residents. Regular resident meetings are scheduled where you can get an update on what's happening and feedback any issues of a general nature. Plus regular care reviews held for each resident with their families.
Mum spent her last days in the Georgiana, and we could not have been looked after better. The staff followed the end of life care plan me and my sister had put in place just weeks earlier, prompted by the care home manager. We made use of the visitors lounge to save having too many visitors at one time in Mums room and were supplied with endless pots of tea and biscuits, and lots of sympathy.
