Richard Cox House looks after twenty-eight elderly people, some of which are living with dementia, as well as providing services to the surrounding community as a day care facility.
The purpose of the service is to practice modern and efficient levels of care, getting the best of the skills of a professional and friendly care team, while also supporting residents in maintaining as much of an interesting and independent day-to-day lifestyle as they feel able.
Coffee mornings and games sessions are organised for residents' enjoyment, with visitors often taking part and other local entertainers adding to the pleasant atmosphere.
