Cliff Court

I have been visiting my friend for at least two years now. She seems very happy and cared for here. All the staff are lovely and caring. I have sampled the food and it is very good.

The staff are truly the heart of this care home. They are professional and attentive and create a nurturing and friendly environment. My mum feels genuinely cared for.

We are so happy our mother is in Cliff Court. We are so reassured she is in good hands, with kind and excellent care. Staff keeps up up to date with medical issues and any concerns. We are welcome anytime to visit and never feel we are in the way. Our mum her put weight on and is settled in her new home. There are no urine smells and everything is kept clean and sanitised and warm. We are so grateful to this care home.

My grandmother has called Cliff Court her home for two years. She says how kind and caring staff are, they have made an impact despite her dementia. The staff are so patient and gentle they have a calm and respectful way of insuring the residents keep freedom and dignity. No job is too big, the staff are extremely helpful, they go above and beyond in informing family and making special adjustments.

My stepmother has blossomed since coming here. When she was living with me during lockdown, she became a bit withdrawn and was missing socialising. Within a week of being here, she brightened up, took a new interest in life and enjoyed socialising with other residents. She continued to be happy and always looks well and well dressed. I am so grateful that my stepmother is here. It is a very nice, friendly place and not too big or too small.

More a family home than a care home feeling when we visit and you can communicate with other residents which is lovely.

My grandmother is needing respite to recover from a hip operation. After viewing many care homes in my area, I was relieved to find Cliff Court Care Home. It is such a nice home. We are hoping to move Grandma in permanently. It is clean, warm and homely. The staff are patient, caring and kind. The food is very good. This home reflects the knowledge and dedication the manager uses to create a home where residents are healthy and happy.

My mom has been at Cliff Court Care Home since September 2022 and we are, as a family, very pleased with the overall support and care our mom receives. All staff are extremely kind, supportive and nurturing towards my mom. We know she is very well looked after and all her needs are met. The staff at the home helped to make the transition into a care home as gentle as possible. Any questions we have about my mom's care are always promptly answered and we are always kept up to date with any medical visits/changes to my mom's needs.

I visit my friend in Cliff Court Care Home weekly and have always found her well cared for. She says she has a nice room with an ensuite which overlooks the sea and that the room is kept clean. She says staff are "lovely" and very caring. She says they have regular activities, painting etc., and entertainment. I haven't visited her room so cannot comment on this, nor can I comment on food, facilities or value for money. My friend is as happy at Cliff Court as she could be anywhere and I couldn't ask for more.

Staff are very informative, friendly and keen to help and of happy deposition. They communicate very well with the family. The cleanliness of the premises is good and the room is warm and comfortable. The care and support given to my mum are excellent.

Mum doesn't join in with the activities but I understand they are good. The staff are brilliant and because some of them are nurses they really look after Mum, calling the doctor when necessary.

Excellent care home, my mother is well looked after. Communication from the home concerning her welfare is excellent. Can't fault anything at the home. The staff are lovely, very attentive and very kind to the residents.

Mum's care has been wonderful. Staff always keep me informed. The staff are friendly and do a wonderful job.

My mum has lived at Cliff Court Care Home for one year now and due to Covid it was a rushed choice but the best choice we made. She has settled well and likes the staff, her face lights up when they come to take her back to the main house after I have visited. They adapt her care to meet her needs. The staff are kind and caring. I know my mum is safe.

I am very happy to be here as we have all our needs satisfied.

Since my mother arrived at Cliff Court Care Home the staff have been amazing. Very caring and mindful of her needs. She has been treated with kindness and respect.

My mother was cared for at Cliff Court for the last five years. During her time there she was very well looked after and made to feel safe and happy. The staff are kind and gentle and understanding and make it a home from home for the residents. During my mother’s decline into dementia and her final days, they maintained her dignity and treated her with the utmost respect. I can highly recommend this residential home.

My mother resided at Cliff Court for over five years. As stated in my previous reviews I repeat my comments. My family were very happy to place Mum at Cliff Court. The owners being hands-on and very caring, also the staff. A homely and friendly atmosphere. We were kept informed at all times if Mum was unwell and the doctor was always called. The home is clean, the food is good, all of the residents are well dressed, hairdresser and chiropodist visit regularly. During lockdown due to Covid restrictions we could Skype Mum at any time and also telephone to speak to staff if we had any worries. I would recommend Cliff Court 100% if anyone is looking for a safe, friendly home to home to place their loved ones.
