Having regularly visited my mother at Fairhaven over the last 3 years I am always struck how friendly and personal the service is. It is really home from home and everyone is treated as an individual with great respect and kindness. There seem to be constant efforts to brighten and enrich the days for the residents and any little event warrants a celebration to be enjoyed by all. Many of the staff have been here since I first started visiting and it seems a happy atmosphere, important for staff and residents alike. I am so glad we chose Fairhaven for Mum, she couldn't be in a better or more caring place

Mum was a resident for almost 4 years and during this time received excellent care by all of the staff at Fair Haven. The staff are very kind, considerate and caring. During the last few weeks of her life, their kindness extended to all the family, making us feel welcome and equally cared for with their empathy and compassion.

We were able to see how hard they all work to ensure the comfort, safety and dignity of residents and are grateful for how much they liked and looked after Mum.

My mum has lived at Fairhaven for several years. I visit regularly and my sister visits daily. My mum is happy and content and always praising the staff saying how wonderful they are and how well she is cared for. The food always looks appetising and the staff are always very welcoming, offering us refreshments and homemade snacks when visiting. My mums room always feels warm and Cozy. She likes the warm Cozy environment. The manager is always available on site and is friendly, accommodating, and empathetic. I have built a posetive close relationship with Fairhaven staff and the manager. I feel my mums needs are well met. Well done Fairhaven.

My mother has been at Fair Haven for just over a year now and as soon as she arrived they made her feel at home, this has continued, we feel extremely lucky to have found such a wonderful home, the staff are excellent and so caring, any issues with her health we are told about as soon as possible.

As the son of a resident at the care home I am very happy with the care my father receives. He always clean and tidy whenever I go to see him. The manager and staff keep me informed of anything I should know about and are very responsive if anything is not right calling in medical assistance when needed. The staff are always happy and helpful if I am concerned about anything.

I have visited my friend at Fairhaven Care home for 3 years. On arrival to the home my friend was very unwell, life expectancy was short. Due to the fantastic care, support and expert knowledge of the staff she is now very stable. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff if approached for advice or help. Meals are always prepared freshly by the onsite team whom endeavour to meet each individual's needs. I will go as far to say one of my other friends was struggling to look after her father. I strongly recommend that they approach the home. As a result, he's now a much loved and cared for resident as are all other residents. Excellent team of professionals with great communication skills .

As daughter of the resident i am happy with the care home, the staff are friendly and keep us well informed. Mum doesn't really want to be alive, this has been like this since her partner died 4yrs ago. She has good days and bad days, she is very Composmentis. She chooses to keep herself to herself. The staff know what mum is like.

We sre very very happy with the care my mum received here. She is very well looked after and is so happy all the time singing and dancing. It fills us with joy to see her so happy. The main carers are so brilliant with mum and all the carers are very good and kind with her and she smiles and likes them all. Would highly recommend this home to any body.

My wife has Alzheimer's, Fair Haven provides a safe, comfortable and friendly environment for her to live in. The management and staff are professionally caring and ensure that her physical and emotional needs are attended to in an efficient and timely manner. The food is excellent and drinks are provided constantly throughout the day. Their activities officer ensures that they have plenty to do and provides stimulating activities throughout the week.

When mum was admitted to Fair Haven we were very surprised that it was a care home, it was so homely. The staff were great, they always found time to answer questions we had or if a problem needed sorting.
The home was always clean and didn't smell (some homes seem to have an odour).
The rooms were always clean and tidy.
Mum seemed happy but due to dementia, we knew she wasn't always right in what she said.
The food looked and tasted great and like mum, there was always someone who needed help and it was given.

I would like to thank all those who helped mum for the last 4 months of her life.

We have always found the staff kind and very understanding when we have phoned. When visiting my uncle they have always shown compassion and kindness to him and have always treated him with great dignity. We know he has received excellent care over the 2 1/2 years he has been here and especially over the last few months when he has been really poorly. A very big "thank you" to all the staff who cared for him.

My mother-in-law was here before her health deteriorated and we were delighted with her care. Now my mum has had to have care due to a broken hip and dementia. All the carers are up-beat and positive, showing respect and great care to each residents, not matter how annoying they can be! Mum is full of praise for the care and the kindness shown to her. We can visit any time and are made most welcome. The food is excellent and plentiful, my mum is a fussy eater, but is eating everything.
